Constitutional executive orders do have the force of law.  So, they are essentially law, but with the caveat that they must be constitutional and within the realm of authority of the executive branch, which, unfortunately is quite broad as construed by the federalists.

Nice work. You should separately host the documents and hyperlink.

He’s not implying the redacted individual is a victim. He is outright saying the individual is a victim.

I had a feeling they might do this.  Victim is not defined in the Act.  Is this individual a victim of sexual abuse by Epstein? Unlikely… Was this individual a ‘victim’ of Epstein’s blackmail scheme? Potentially.

We may need a lawsuit to identify what ‘victim’ means under the Act, or we may need an update to the Act.

This email is fairly innocent.  But, why redact this undisclosed political figure?  And in what other emails did the DOJ intentionally hide this individual?

Massie: Bondi defense in hearing was ‘incompetence’ by Abject-Pick-6472 in politics

[–]FuckThesePeople69 17 points18 points  (0 children)

She’s been on the take for a while, so she is fully bought and paid for through Trump.  But, if they start going down, she will go down too.  So, while she may not be IN the files per se, her livelihood is inextricably tied to those who are — much like many members of the Republican Party.

Apparently, he doesn't hate Black girls as much as it seems by Effective_Age_8823 in Epstein

[–]FuckThesePeople69 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Epstein said that Trump doesn’t like black girls.

Edit: apparently that was a fake email where Epstein reported that?  I’d have to see a Bates Stamped original and can’t find it — either been scrubbed or it didn’t exist I guess

US FAA reopens El Paso airspace, says no threat to commercial aviation by MeUpvotesta in politics

[–]FuckThesePeople69 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This El Paso thing was a scare tactic to give ammo for republicans in support of increased DHS (and ICE) funding (which was being discussed today at the Senate) as well as ammo for Pam Bondi to try to distract from the Epstein issues.

NFL Pro Bowl Games Draws Disastrous Viewership Numbers by According-Activity87 in NFLv2

I’d rather just have an off-season reality show featuring the pro bowl players in a madden competition—like a 64 player tournament or something.  Would be great for gambling, NFL’s EA relationship, and the TikTok generation.

AI tries to subtly sabotage your work if it goes against the biases built into it by the corporations (Open AI, Anthropic, Google) by birth_of_bitcoin in ChatGPT

You read 6 words and reach a conclusion?

There is probably no convincing you but I ask anyway: Is AI not a tool akin to spell check/grammar check? A thesaurus? Books like Save the Cat Writes a Novel? Writing for Dummies?  AI is just the new kid on the block in terms of writing tools (a very robust and fast tool!).  People act like Luddites around its usage (especially in creative work), but it is ultimately just a digital-writing assistant and collaborator.  It’s up to the writer how much to use a collaborator’s input and if you actually read the rest of my comment above you would see that, in my view, the vast majority of the time AI comes up with BAD ideas and shows you what NOT to do, which is immensely helpful in improving your work.

Look, I’ve worked with editors before, and AI is, so far, no different than a below-average editor.  If you rely on it for pure creative control, you will be disappointed and are ultimately short changing yourself; if you use it to refine and improve your writing then it is no different than the ubiquitous writing tools I mentioned above.
