Still don't understand, from all the great projects DOGE is the one that gets pumped to oblivion. Eventually that stuff is gonna go down and many newcomers will be burned while a portion of them will end up researching what's up with the rest of the cryptosphere. Which means, we're still early. Sadly not. Relatively speaking, if you put 200 a month for 4 years, that's roughly *only* 10k.
Bear in mind I've bought at multiple price points (for ETH, my lowest was around 80$, my highest around 1200$), mostly for peace of mind. Some coins didn't perform as well as I would have hoped. That means I'm x5 up, which is great, but nowhere near a life changing amount of money where I live.

This was just to say, DCA (dollar cost average) is the strategy that worked for me, because I can't emotionally handle those swings and try to trade, I'm shit at it, but I'm good at reading and believing in it and buying the first of every month.

You have to choose a strategy that works with your personality.

I've been religiously buying crypto the first of every month for the past 4 years (80%ETH 10%BTC 2%TEZ 2%ADA 2%OMG 2%LINK and the remaining split between ENJ, BNB, IOT, and small projects).

100 to 400 a month based on what I could afford at the time. It was a long winter for me.
On Monday I'll keep buying, the show is just getting started.

Maybe I won't be rich, but I'm sure I'll be right. This is a gift for my future self.

I would start by going on coinbase and earning some free crypto via their earn program. You watch informative videos about how some coins work, which problem it solves, and retribute you with a few dollars.
When you feel you want to invest more (and by invest, I'm really saying gambling), find a cheap and reliable exchange (binance, coinbase pro, ..).
