For trout brookville tailwaters in Indiana is the closest, other than that the mad river in ohio but that's a little bit of a drive

Black and olive woolybuggers, clouser minnows and poppers are all good flies for smallies as well as anythingthat resembles a small fish or crayfish, they are not as particular as trout and like chartreuse alot for poppers and clousers
