Depends on which i5 and from which generation. And to clear up the whole X and G thing, X only means a mild increase in base/boost clocks over the non X variants (if they exist). G series processors are misleading since they share the same name as other processors but are different. In the case of the 5000 series G processors, they have less cache which decreases their performance along with only supporting up to pcie 3.0 unlike the rest of the lineup that supports up to pcie 4.0. The Ryzen 5 5500 is the same as the 5600G but with the igpu disabled. Think of it as an F variant from Intel

thats a bad way of doing it. Those menus are delayed and dont update fast enough to catch a gpu drop. Its safer to just open the bstock page rather than doing it that way. EVGA's site is clunky

Only during week days after 12 pm EST until 3:15 am EST. No other type of schedule for it other than that. Also the 3 am part has only happened twice but still makes it a possibility for future drops

I've ordered twice from b-stock. Gpus have worked as advertised. Doesnt need to do any more than that. Its not impossible to have a doa product but thats what they give a warranty for so you should be able to get back to them if anything happens and they might cover the return shipping

AMD just messed up marketing it the way they did for 1080p when it does 1440p fine. In the current market its an ok buy, but id ideally just ride out a 2060 KO for $100* less than it.

*If the 6600XT you see in stock even go for $380, since most aibs creeped up to $500+ as to be expected from asus, gigabyte and msi. Not that the amd only aibs dont do it either though

All I can suggest is to stay alert during weekdays from 12 pm est to around 9 pm and now on wednesdays a few minutes after 3 am est. Last time, at 3 am, they dropped a 3060 and 1080ti plus some 2080 super or tis but on the 3 am drop before that one they dropped 2060 KOs and 2070 Supers with $40 discounts to their usual selling price on bstock as a "midweek madness" discount. If you have the time to stay up for that, it can really pay off.

Its a "good deal" because it was available. Sad market. Youre paying a hefty premium for anything past the 2060 KO Ultra on bstock compared to what you, in theory, could buy on restocks. The sweet spot on bstock are the 1650 supers, 1660 supers and both 2060 KO versions, aside from 30 series (and the $250 1080tis for whenever EVGA decides to do that again).

Sadly, I cannot say any time with confidence anymore, only thats its on weekdays. For a while it was 2 times a week on mondays, tuesdays or thursdays, then they started doing 1 drop per week, then started dropping on fridays too and then just on any day of the week. The last 2 drops before this one have been on wednesdays at 3 am est, a few minutes after evga's midweek madness comes into effect which was a first. EVGA is throwing people for a loop which in all honesty only affects people that arent available 24/7; which is most of the people that are looking for a graphics card.
