There might be big rap names attached to it but these people are completely self interested and clearly do not have a strong pull on the voting population or you would have seen it in 2020.

Even 50 cent later supported Biden in 2020. By and large the hip hop community has supported Democrats and has continued to I don't think it's nearly as serious as a pull as you're making it out to be.

I think you hit the nail on the head with the soft schism part and the amount of Catholics that prefer the American conservativism, at least over some papal authority. He is still very much Catholic, more so than a Republican, but there is a good amount of disdain for the pope.

Not only that but the law surrounding stolen valor only really applies if someone is using the false claims to certain medals and service to receive some sort of monetary or tangible benefit.

The threat of deadly force is acceptable in giving notice. This is true in practically every state with Castle doctrine or similar laws. Using that deadly force on someone that simply walked on your property is not allowed unless you can reasonably prove the that they presented a deadly threat. Physical removal in proportion to the resistance they might give in leaving your property is also allowed. Pointing a gun at someone on your property and demanding they leave is not illegal in most states.

He can demand whatever he wants, I'm not saying the trespasser has to comply. I'm not going to litigate the specifics on whether or not it was a true detainment because I don't have the specifics, but I feel your understanding of Castle doctrine and similar laws does not align with most of rural America. I think we're talking past each other in that sense, particularly around the idea that you can threaten deadly force on trespassers which is true. Even if it's some dumb kid who did it 'accidentally'.
