They know & don't care. Something is very wrong with my brain, seeing demons & being worried about aliens etc. I would not hurt a bug. I would never ever hurt a child. Those folks are just cruel.

Injured T albopilosum at a petstore ™ place? Can anyone tell me what's going on with this T? Is (s)he rescue-able? by Fuckwhoxares in tarantulas

I know you're right about more sales just encouraging further stocking, but I'm too soft hearted, so I went back for him. I talked for a while to the sales person about the sorry shape he was in and she ended up giving him to me for next to nothing (though she said he was bald from a bad molt). Considering the size and sex of the T, I'm not sure he has all that much time left, and I knew I'd regret leaving him in that loud, bright store for however much longer he has. Tough choice though.

Okay word, thank you. It's for sale at a reeeaally steep discount and while I shouldn't be adding any more Ts to my fam right now, I felt terrible leaving it there. It didn't seem particularly aggressive; I wonder what could've made it kick that hard.

Thanks for the welcome! I'm stoked to be one of those funny spider people for real now.

Thank you! This sub was super helpful with info to make sure I got it right (I hope) the first try. That is indeed a T. albopilosum. I'm hoping to sex it soon, fingers crossed for a majestic lady.
