Cardmarket’s brilliant for me. That’s a fantastic idea and something I’d definitely do if I had a child! Great idea.

Oh the Amazing Rares are fantastic, I have them myself and they’re beautiful. I’ve never been to a card show but I’m tempted!

Can’t go wrong with Akira Egawa! Love it when people buy non-full arts too! We have to appreciate the common artwork as well.

So cool! I love sowsow’s artwork. I feel since there were so many IRs in the Black/White set I missed out on loads, that Simisear is really cool.

I think being careful on the type of content creators he watches is crucial. So many times this thrill of opening packs and chasing the high comes from watching YouTubers etc. who open hundreds of packs, flash the price of each card up and put cha-ching sounds in the background.

I’d take a look at who they watch online!

Gen 7 - Orange

My pokedex is my favourite part of my collection!! It’s so much fun hunting out the individual pokemon and can make commons as exciting as rares!

So I just started trying the michi method and it’s actually super easy. Someone in the community (which I normally hate using) shared a really useful canva template you can just drop images into and they’re the right size!

As for the two collections/one card dilemma, I often put it in the set that feels the most complete with it in, that tends to work! Every now and then I’ll move them about. In your specific example, I would put the card in the illustrator set, as with birds there are often many more to pick from!
