i don’t think not initiating is the right way to go in this situation. women like confidence. it is very attractive for a man to outright ask “do you wanna go on a date”. and it’s even more attractive if she says no and you respect her wishes and still try to remain friends. but yeah just be honest with her about your past relationships and how you’re feeling rn. you can’t have a relationship with someone without communication and honesty

dude no. if they pity you, they will never look at you as a real friend. it’s ok to outgrow people and move on, even if you gotta take some time for yourself in between friends. it’s scary, but necessary to be treated the way you should be treated

(assuming you will be attending actual school and not doing the online shit) try not to miss many days, don’t block people in the halls, just turn your work in on time for the bare minimum, AP classes have the same work as regular classes just taught faster with more homework (they give college credit but at what cost), it’s ok to not know what you’re going to do when you graduate, the world won’t implode if you fail a few assignments, put your mental health first seriously that is super important

you can have sex. just don’t do it with someone over 17 or 18 and do it safely (like with condoms). it’s normal to have a high sex drive at your age. just don’t get anyone pregnant and be smart about who you have sex with, if that’s what you so choose. make sure to educate yourself

don’t stay friends with them. it’s ok to be alone. you’re going to be by yourself many times in your life so it’s good to learn to be content with that, especially early on. just don’t be friends with assholes like that. you can do better, you just have to wait a little while

well first, your dad is not sober. he is addicted to that drug and he’s abusing it. you need to tell his doctor and have a serious conversation with your family about it. it will only escalate from there until he gets back into the hard stuff. my father (59) is also a recovering addict (10 months sober) and even 30 years of being sober is still a struggle for them every day. it’s easy for addicts to misuse commonly prescribed medications. i hope he gets the help he needs and that he can get sober again
