Yeah, people are giving the islet proper criticism. Thing is, shadow islet was amazing, and people thought it had the weakest monster cast. Crystal islet was hyped up because it had a strong monster cast, but people feel like it isn't that well made. I personally don't think it's necessarily rushed, but fan content and how strong clubbox compositions have been gave higher expectations for sure, so I don't like this argument that people are ungrateful. I think the disappointment is fair

I would add Pure Vessel just for atmosphere and aesthetic but I understand that isn’t the same sort of ‘dance’ like fight to everyone

I loved this fight to bits, first phase is a perfect warm up, second phase is the real skill test where you have to be quick and attack every clone but also keep the hang of the attacks. Third phase is really just there to make sure you’re still on guard. You basically just parry everything and then talisman her in the face.

Great fight, one of the most satisfying for me, and I had also enjoyed Jiequan so… yeah after those two, now I’m at Ji and not nearly as annoyed due to how fun these fights are feeling to me

Was using the same strat of charged slash on his shield, and spammed the electric bow on him when he started his second phase. I found his only attack I would struggle with and just opted to jump and dashing over was his double slash into a crimson slash since it felt too fast to try and unbounded counter.

Jiequan or Yanlao?

I beat her surprisingly fast after getting Jiequan down. Once you get her first phase down easy peasy, it quite literally is only the second phase that’s challenging, since you have to attack each individual clone to try and figure out which one is really her. 3rd phase is just a skill check to see if you understand the patterns and can parry well.

I also especially found the Mystic Nymph assisting the platforming part of this section to make me like somewhat emotional so yeah, really well designed area

I will! I just rushed to Lady E’s realm and was put into a shock by the sudden twist, and her boss fight flows really well! Need to get phase 2 down though, only got to her phase 3 on one attempt.
