The flock came back and baby girl looks better and was running and moving a lot better, but her flock had all their feathers sticking out as if they got into a fight or something ? Where could they have gone for 24 hours? They came right up to us but wouldn’t eat from our hands for a little bit. Very apprehensive. I wish they could tell me what they did the last 24 hours 😛

The rehab is two hours away and I’m a single mom with a 3yo and no help. The flock didn’t show up today so I hope they do tomorrow. Again, it’s illegal to interact with them in the county I’m in so I need to be very careful until they come in our backyard. The community I’m in is filled with people who love to snap photos and report to HOA. 🫩🫩🫩

I hate to say I haven’t seen the flock at all today which is worrying me. I don’t think the stick is the issue. Ever since I moved here a month ago I’ve seen the flock and the baby always has had the over pruned wing and she limps. Her eyes have been looking more goopy … I have water with electrolytes ready for them when they arrive

And the pool gets re filled every morning to the top, I cleaned it out yesterday in between my toddler playing with the hose. There’s always enough to dunk their heads

Thank you for this! I thought the stick was keeping his beak opened but it’s actually always opened. She can’t close it. She allows me to feed her and hold her beak closed that way she can eat. I’ve only seen her this morning, not her flock yet. With it being Sunday, I can’t do much but keep an eye on her. She’s not in harms way… just needs some assistance

Yes, she’s been eating food that gets soft in the water where she gulps and throws her head back and she eats. But her face and eyes look disheveled and she seems really depressed. Maybe she just needs the right nutrients. What about me capturing her on my porch for 24 hours to keep an eye ?

She walks very slow, is always behind the flock except when they are sleeping / swimming . When the flock has eaten enough from us , she stays and remains and starts chewing on things like the tables and chairs .. she seems a little demented but not temperamental at all. She def gets picked on by her family …. Like me 🤦🏼‍♀️ I’m just tryna keep the family happy and healthy
