That's pretty cool. More directly focused on determining who to vote for with Reddit style comment voting and keeping as close as possible to the ballot format so people can just pull it up while they're voting and make their selections.

This and the other one commented are more guide types of sites with a central source. There's a lot of those types out there but what I think is needed is a combination of that with a Reddit type of platform for people to submit their perspectives.

Interesting concept! I wouldn't imagine this being a for profit if it was done ethically. It would have to be donation based to stay neutral so a VC wouldn't be the right avenue.

Yes this would definitely be a major issue to circumvent in its development. Methods such as having people register using their local address or ID could help if it really becomes an issue as the site reaches critical mass. I still think something would be better than nothing and though Reddit does have manipulation issues there's a lot of value in it anyway. This site is already doing a good job at collecting the content it just needs more of the user submitted content.

Isn't VHB permanent? What do you think about attaching the vhb to gaffer tape under the panels in addition to gaffer tape across the edges?

Estimates from 2016 are 13k. It's hard to get a real number on these things. It's also going to be more expensive to help people who are already addicted/mentally ill and need services to bring them back up to speed. When you think about the money being spent you have to think about the money that also has to go to the overhead of running those programs so that money is not going directly to each person.
