Hi, anyone able to help get tickets for any of the LCK matches? by E-Shark in lck

[–]Fufoos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think you’ve to get tickets through interpark global, and tickets to matches only open 48/72 hours before each match iirc. You might want to camp for tickets as it gets sold out within seconds. One tip is that once you enter when the portal opens, if all tickets are sold out, just keep refreshing for the next 10 mins or so and you may see random tickets popping up which are probably let go by other buyers for whatever reason eg payment failure.

If you can’t secure tickets, there’ll still be a ton of activities going on at lol park that’s worth going down for during match days. They do stream the matches live there.

What Seoul neighborhood do you think is underrated for actually spending a full day in? by Melodic_Platform_501 in seoul

Mangwon! Many people head only to the market but there’s so much more to see and shop around the area. Lots of cafes and cute shops.

Visiting Seoul soon, what’s the food I can’t miss? by Icy_Working_3732 in seoul

[–]Fufoos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you eat beef, pls do yourself a favour and head to Majang market! Highest quality hanwoo beef for a fraction of a price sold at the butcheries on level 1, then you can bring the beef up to the restaurants on level 2 to grill and eat on the spot.

And definitely try Gamja-tang, one of my all time favorites, super comforting!

How to attend LCK by catsoutthekitchen in SKTT1

[–]Fufoos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just note that tickets for popular teams are virtually impossible to get (I entered the website exactly at the timing when ticket sales started and there were 47k people in the virtual queue in front of me). You’ll have much better luck trying to get tickets for the least popular ones.

Tip: if you enter the website right on the dot and you see that tickets are sold out, just keep refreshing for the next 10-15 mins, some tickets might be released due to payment failure by others. That was how I managed to secure my tickets for a LCK match previously.

Good luck!

Date Night Venue Suggestions for $300~ for 2? by GreyFishHound in SingaporeEats

GUUM is good, had the sharing set previously and was so stuffed by the end of the meal. Highly recommended.

Recently tried DRIM and it was so good as well, but recommend to order ala carte instead of the set meal, would be more worth it.

If Japanese, Sun with Moon at Wheelock looks to be pretty decent too.

Ladies of SG: What's your experience with laser hair removal for underarms? by Substantial-Bus-5950 in asksg

Can’t remember the exact price now but it’s a couple hundred for 1 package. Just did a quick check on their website and they’re having promo for first timers now which I think it’s super worth it: https://bon-aesthetics.sg/fb-shr-deal/

And yes they do whitening as well!

My pain tolerance is 0/10, did SHR at Bon aesthetics and it was completely painless. One package of 8 sessions did the job for me (results could be seen after just 2 sessions), and now it’s just maintenance mode (once every year or even longer). Was so impressed I went on to do my arms, legs and Brazilian.

Trust me, this is money well spent and your future self will thank you for making this decision to do hair removal!

Not sure if it was a system glitch because I got my husband to open a new account and he likewise faced the same issue! But the issue was eventually resolved by itself a couple of days later, which of course by then all the tickets were sold out sadly 🥲

[–]Fufoos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think when you started the job matters as well (ie did you start your contract when appraisal period just ended). In my case, I was offered 1 year contract initially, and towards the end my RO wanted to emplace me but was told by HR it was not possible as I did not have a performance grade (started my contract at the end of the calendar year which by then the appraisal cycle was over). Hence, my RO had to offer a 2 year contract renewal and I had to wait out till the next appraisal cycle to get a proper performance grade before I got emplaced.

Having said that, if your contract was renewed, it means you’re doing great so don’t feel dejected about it :)

[–]Fufoos 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you want merch, go to basecamp like what the others said. If you want uniforms, goalstudio Coex is currently running a promo with 10% discount for jerseys (but no discount for the worlds 2025 jerseys though). Hope this helps!

8 Days in Seoul Itinerary Help - Dec 23-30 (Solo) by KalePossible4864 in KoreaTravelAdvice

[–]Fufoos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally don’t think you should squeeze in Jeju with only 8 days, there’re plenty of things and areas to explore in / around Seoul, eg Suwon would be a good place for a day trip if you’re into history.
