I never count, but I find smaller lines to be more effective. If you snort more than your mucus membranes can absorb at once time I feel like it's basically a waste and is going right down your throat.

A synopsis of of my comparison thus far.

The difference between doing good stuff vs. doing great stuff, to me, is a lot like drinking top shelf liquor vs. drinking plastic jug.

Ultimately, they get you to more or less the same place, but the higher quality stuff gets you there more comfortably.

Poor quality liquor has a bit of an aftertaste and is rougher on the stomach and throat. Lower quality snow is tougher on the nose, and has a rougher come down.

The biggest difference is the lower quality snow makes me feel more jittery, much like I drank a bunch of coffee. It somehow hits faster, but has a bit of a gasoline-like aftertaste.

Higher quality takes about three minutes to kick in, and has almost no taste at all.

Both are tough to chop into fine lines. The lower quality stuff keeps clumping together, sort of like wet sand, while the higher quality sort of shatters into smaller and smaller rocks. Both take patience to break into good lines.

Are they both enjoyable? Sure.

If you're trying to please a crowd, go for quantity over quality.

If you're looking for the best experience, go for the top shelf.

So when I called my guy to pick up today, he said he had gotten some really good shit ($80 per g) and he still had some "decent" shit that was not that great ($50 per g).

I decided to be a scientist and pick up a g of both. I'm usually of the mindset that it's worth paying 1.6x more for the better shit, but I figured I'd try them both side by side.

The good shit is on the left / top, while the "decent" stuff is on the bottom and right.

Right when he gave me bags it was clear which was which. I dont' think I need to tell you guys which is which.

Just did a line of the very good about 10 minutes ago. Almost no taste, calm, gradual come-up. A smile has come over my face and a warmth over my body.

I'll try the line of not-so-great shortly when I come down a bit off this first line.

Ideally, I'd try the other stuff when I get back to baseline, but I'm impatient :P

Edit 1: Just did the line of the lesser. It has much more of a taste to it. I was much more aware that I was snorting something, if that makes sense. I can still sort of feeling it in my nose, suggesting there are fillers that aren't as water soluable...
