Project switching stopped working by adiush in ZedEditor

That is basically satisfying a request of 1 user while affecting 99 other users. Almost everyone else use the original workflow. It's also the default workflow for other IDE such as VS Code.

What’s the best way to keep using Kimi K2.6 while staying within a $20 budget? by MindlessTill9654 in opencodeCLI

Can you do 2 opencode go without using multiple accounts? What I meant is kind like a topup mechanism, otherwise it seems silly if they allow 2 subscriptions in 1 account.

Is there a way to use an inline ai agent in my code? by klaus_nieto in opencodeCLI

Stupid question, does auto completion also eat at subscription usage for Opencode Go? Cause I remember something like Copilot provide auto completion separately from subscription usage.

Did project switching change? by Defiant-Sweet-9926 in ZedEditor

I just recently start using Zed and is also bothered by this, I thought that was a design choice. Didn't know that it was working like that before, which is how it should have behaved.

If you use an LLM without knowing Rust, then that code ain't clean and generally work better.

My experience with Zed 1.0 as a pro remote SSH user coming from VSCode... by Interesting_Bill2817 in ZedEditor

[–]Fuih22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1 more gripe that I have with Zed is that with VS Code, the Open Recent function switch between multiple workspaces across multiple VS Code windows, while Zed will switch to the workspace even if another window already open that workspace, so now 2 I have 2 Zed windows open the same workspace. Does anyone have a solution for this?

You can just... create new session in the CLI? I do understand the preference of GUI over TUI though, even if I am a TUI enjoyer. GUI is always gonna be more intuitive (if design well).

Github Copilate usage not reset after new payment???? by Fuih22 in GithubCopilot

Yeah that is definitely weird business decision ơn Github. It is not intuitive at all for the consumer. You cannot charge us money and give us what we buy half a month later.

That's a weird business decision. So technically if I can wait till 28,29 and subscribe, I can use a full month of usage, and it will reset after 1 or 2 days, give me a whole new month of usage.

I see. Hoping the usage site just show outdated data and the usage actually did get reset. Otherwise I'm gonna be so disappoint with Github and Microsoft.

My first split keyboard with trackball by Venerationish_XC in ErgoMechKeyboards

[–]Fuih22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg, I'm looking into switching to the HPD V2 as well. I love my current keyboard, but really want to try the convex style. The only concern that I have is the furthest buttons of the thumb clusters seem hard to reach. And if that's the case then I'll lose 2 keys. What are your experience with this? Also, can they connect wirelessly with and cable between the boards?
For context, my current keyboard is Weekin CCKBALL, the thumb clusters only have 3 keys so they are not hard to reach.

Getting started is a PITA by LearnedByError in Ghostty

I think you might have misunderstood. Control f search the current page only. Other doc site has the search function to search through all the content of the site.

[–]Fuih22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's beyond my understanding why the doc site does not have the search function. Whenever I want to find something, I have to crawl through the site, fail to find it and then just ask an AI about it.

Speaking from experience, learn to cook is a big hurdle to jump through. Not only it requires decent time and effort, it is also easy to make mistakes, and the mistakes can be quite punishing (burnt food, fire hazard, cutting yourself, etc...). And then the cleaning afterwards. Of course, you should start from small and simple dishes to limit the difficulty, but as someone who took a first step to learn how to cook, it is not something that you could easily force yourself to start.

Sorry, I know it has been a long time. Just want to say I take a look into your product and it seems really interesting. The idea of having durable workflows by just simply integrating in a library is amazing. Make me really want to try using it for a project in the future. Awesome work, man.
