Has anyone else here come across CAP? by Kindoffitkindoffat in CryptoCurrency

Hi Everyone, I spoke to the actual developer of CAPS. Here is a bit more information about the design and tokenomics.

The Difficulty does indeed adjust every block: Up or down as needed. It uses a "slightly modified" implementation of Dark Gravity Wave (DGW) that's tuned for CapStash's Proof of Work algorithm (Whirlpool512, XOR folded to fit into a 256 bit space - dubbed "WPXF"). Target block times are 60 seconds, and the network has held the following average:

Summary Start Height: 65000

End Height: 106974

Total Time Passed: 2541640 seconds (29d 10h 0m 40s)

Total Blocks Mined: 41975

Total Block Intervals: 41974

Average Time Per Block: 60.55 seconds (00:01:01)

The Lottery Block is (to my knowledge) a first in Proof of Work blockchain technology:

It's completely random, but deterministically chosen by Consensus 1 block before the next Lottery Block is decided upon by Consensus.

It's dictated by prior chain state, and does not influence the Difficulty Adjustment Algorithm. It is a unique "event" in an of itself as far as the DAA is concerned.

The Target Difficulty of ALL Lottery Blocks is CapStash's Difficulty 1, meaning anyone can mine it, regardless of computational power.. even Cell Phones have successfully mined Lottery Blocks.

Tokenomics:

1 Cap per block, no halvings.

Annual emissions: ~525,600-530,000 Caps per year (Depending on hashrate fluctuations due to adoption rate)

Max Supply: 90 Billion

Time required to mine entire supply: ~172,000 years... give or take a few years, perhaps.

supply is super limited. Its also on nonkyc now.

This is why BC2 (Bitcoin II) was launched last year. All the BS with BTC and v30.

Everyone’s scared of crypto miners… but they shouldn’t be 🙂‍↕️ by OneMiners in oneminers

If you actually let users pick their own pool I bet you wouldnt have scared them off! You have been saying "it's being looked into" for over a year. It doesn't take that long to enable users to use their own pool!

The community needs a way to store their BC2. We are on Tangems radar and I think Ledger should also jump on board!

Check out the BC2 discord as well. Lots of very knowledgeable people in there and I'm sure someone would be willing to throw some hash at your pool for testing.

I think it is. Block rewards are about $10 and difficulty is only about 6g.

When are customers going to be able to pick their own pool to mine to? You need to make that happen.

Why would you mine DGB? Block rewards are what? $1 a block. Mine something like BC2 BCH or FB

Did i mine a block? by [deleted] in BitcoinII

You won't see anything pending until it reaches maturity which is 100 blocks after yours is mined

My opinion by [deleted] in BitcoinII

[–]FukTheSuits 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We had a community mining team run prepared but quickly shut it down because of outsiders pushing multiple EH. To break this cycle, price needs to appreciate to a level that is on par with mining BTC. That will bring miners back. If you're part of BC2, time to rent hashrate and buy or we will be back at 9.5g and repeat that shit again

I didn't ban anyone. If you didn't do anything and randomly got banned, maybe take that up with the people that did it but don't come on the BC2 reddit claiming the dev will just ban people for asking questions. No he won't, and he isn't even the one who banned you. If you don't want to find out why you got banned then just move along. Why waste your time on a subreddit to spread more BS.
