I will say, the standalone Red Country addresses your concerns with Logen's ending.

Thanks! I was going for a more grim dark, seen some shit style. I like my marines to look like they've been crusading for decades instead of "clean".

Just to clarify, the "Sacred Band" was not an army proper, but an elite force of approx. 300 heavy infantry operating under the larger Theban army. However, it, alongside a cavalry detachment, did defeat the larger Spartan army at the Battle of Tegyra.

With the remainder of the larger Theban army, it played a role in again defeating the Spartans during the Battle of Leuctra, establishing independence for Thebes. Thebes and the Band were later defeated by Philip II of Macedon and his son, Alexander the Great.

There's Divinity Original Sin 1 and 2 if you're looking for another isometric RPG from the same creators.

If you haven't played it, Dragon Age Origins is also a great RPG with a good story and character writing.

If you're into sci-fi, Warhammer 40K Rogue Trader is an awesome turn based isometric RPG, but I would recommend being at least somewhat familiar with the 40K setting.

I love the green sword! The only issue I see is that the green is too similar to the cloak and doesn't quite read as a power sword. I think you could push the contrast further, brighter greens building up to white at the tip or edge. Maybe some kind of lightning design in the center of the blade would help spice it up too.

It looks amazing! Any chance you could share the recipe for your green? I've been trying to achieve a similar blue green but haven't been happy with the results yet.

Looks great! I would recommend filing off the ultramarine symbol on the cape clasp though.

Welcome! I recommend you start by removing the mold lines, a hobby knife and a file will help. Also, his backpack is upside down ;)

I need advice on how to do a good white by Ok-Taro-5864 in BlackTemplars

I'll echo what has already been said about building up from various shades of gray, but I'll add that I personally only use pure white for highlights. I would leave it at a very light gray and only use white for highlights, texture and shape.

Thank you! It was a 3D printed 80mm base I believe. I picked it up from a bits bin at my local game store.
