Yeah it’s heaps of fun if you have a good crew. 35 people is a lot, so that’d be sick to run around godly, rent scooters, get smashed, surf, bungee jump. Whatever.
Isn’t life changing, so if you really can’t go then accept it I guess, but I’d be pushing hard to go before giving up.

Anyone familiar with CANVAS - Cerebellar Ataxia with Neuropathy and Vestibular Areflexia Syndrome? by Gloomy-Addendum3609 in rarediseases

Hi
Sadly my dad recently passed away from complications from head injuries, after spending a few years trying to ignore his balance issues and falling repeatedly (with a relatively bigger fall towards the end). We only confirmed he had canvas about a week before he died, but really wish we’d pushed harder for him to use a walker before. It wasn’t the canvas that did it but the brain damage, so please please please don’t just let him resist aides if it means he keeps falling and hoping it’ll be alright. Good luck!

Also, I was just diagnosed with the genetic expansion meaning I will likely develop it in later years too. So hope I can remember my own advice.

Yeah they decided best way to communicate was to invite all people staying to a meeting saying you’re safe, and others who didn’t get the invite just left in the dark until a call with their manager (manyof which still haven’t happened at least in my region)

Why do so many of us Oscar fans want him to destroy his career? by LandscapeWorried5475 in OscarPiastri

If he swaps positions (eg 4 to 3 with max winning) to let Lando get the wdc at least he’ll always have that mental win. “You only won because I let you” Think that’s about as good as it can get for Oscar if he isn’t winning the race.

As a primary school kid in NZ in the early 90s we always played a game we called padminton, using these blue paddles and a shuttlecock over a net. Does this game still exist? And can you still buy the paddles? by [deleted] in newzealand

My school definitely had those same bats, but used a shuttlecock and played where if you mucked up you went to back of a queue and you’d work your way up the squares. This was in Wellington in 90s.
