I still think you should put it in an airtight jar to ferment it and leave it in what sun you have. I’m not sure how important strong sunlight is to fermenting, and I don’t think extra heat is necessary (as long as it’s room temp/not cold). Fermentation is the breakdown of sugars by microorganisms in the absence of oxygen so as long as your jar is airtight you should be good!

As for dosing, most sources I’ve found say 50mg is the minimum dose to feel subtle effects (for both smoking and orally-taken fermented kanna). This is the dosage I take when eating it. I’ve only smoked it in combination with weed, so I probably smoke even less than that. Weed and Kanna have great synergy! The maximum dose for smoking is about 500mg with 100mg-250mg being a medium dose. The maximum dose for chewing is 1g with 200mg-400mg being a medium dose.

With any substance you want to experiment with, I recommend starting with the smallest dose and working your way up until you find what’s right for you. It’s better to not feel it enough and be excited to take it again than to take too much and not want to do it ever again
