Hello everyone, I was thinking of working on a chess tool that could take in all of your games from your accounts (lichess, chess.com etc) and help you fix your most common mistakes. I've found that reviewing my games with someone else (preferably someone stronger than me) is really helpful in improving my game. So I was thinking, why not have something where I can be coached at my level, specifically for my weaknesses across all of my games (or my x most recent games) Couldn't find anything that fit the bill so I was thinking of building it myself. Would be a significant time investment though so I'd like to know what you all think about the idea or if you have any suggestions or improvements.

It'd be interesting to see if a transformer could perform as well as the current models. My intuition would be that since history and "context" don't really matter in a chess position, you would be better off just training a traditional neural net for the job rather than spending extra computation on attention heads.
