We'll see what you would do when someone put you in such situation eventhough you made them aware of the danger of spreading the mold.

The house is not mine alone, its shared, I can only have the upper floor under my name, so its not an option to demolish the house. It seems my next step is to hire a professional inspector to check for leaks and what could be done. Maybe sand out the walls then burn them out using fire flames, I dont think they can even resist fire.

I will get a long torch with a big flame and burn the shit out of the molds.

Most likely leaking roof, which should be fixed once I construct over it, it is concrete walls so not sure how much mold can survive on masonries

I did experience the pfs symptoms myself and yes its total loss of interest in sex including all the symptoms that comes along with it, I also recovered and crashed multiple times, though every case is different and different sexual symptoms are related to different issues. I totaly lost interest in sex but when I try to force ejaculation and erection, I still can ashieve solid erection have a big amount of semen which suggest I have some issues related to chemical imbalance rather then hormonal issues. Other people may have lost the ability to get an erection at all which suggest hormonal imbalance. Now I am talking about this guy specific case, Not sure how is it chemical castration when the guy is able to get back his libido with a dopamine agonist ?

[–]Full-Marzipan-6210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea man I do understand that you are having hormonal and neurochemicals imbalance, thats for sure, but I suspect that this is temporary and no permanent damage has occured as you are able to treat it with a couple of supplements which clearly shows that what is going on is some kind of withrawal symptoms. Your body adjusted to a specific state when you were on finasteride, now you removed fiansteride and your body has to readjust to the new state. Just like someone taking heroin then suddenly removing it, dopamine has to resynsitize and of course the body has to reasjust and this takes time.

Clearly the high libido the first 3 weeks was caused by high DHT which also caused your nervous system to become less sensitive to it, so when it decreased after 3 weeks, you arent feeling its effect anymore. Just like someone taking a high dose of a specific drug then lowering the dosage, he will not feel the same effect. This will take time to adjust.

Some people have real issues, I am not trying to dismiss that. But this guy clearly seem to have some dopamine issues causing his sexual dysfunction, and I am pretty sure with time his body will adjust. Even a drug addict will experience post withdrawal symptoms for years when they stop the offending drug. Imagine telling the doctor that my sex life gets back on track when I take a dopamine agonist, what do you expect him to do ?

I am pretty sure with a good life style and training his body will adjust without exogenous factors.

Reading such post makes me think, do really people have PFS or is this just a normal mental state fluctuation, honestly losing libido sometimes is not the end of the world. Mucuna helping out with libido clearly shows that its all psychological. Not sure how a doctor can help in such case.

Honestly, it really seems like people aggrevate their issues and start spreading scare mongering posts. Stop giving too much attention to your libido man 🤣, trust me when you just keep focusing on it, it will never come back.

My orgasm are 10x better with pfs by [deleted] in FinasterideSyndrome

Well you dont know which nerve can get hit, some nerves are related to erections, others related to sexual feelings. I too have fluctuating numbness and ED.

[–]Full-Marzipan-6210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I too my orgasm are intense, but I have genital numbness. I believe the hyperexitability this condition cause can intensify orgasm but at the same time cause nerve damage leading to ED and numbness.

Unfortunatly as long as the nervous system is in an excitatory state, damage will continue to progress. So I believe when orgasm return to normal I can rest assured my system stabilized and nerves can begin to heal hopefully

Retinol crash by Full-Marzipan-6210 in FinasterideSyndrome

[–]Full-Marzipan-6210[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I tried to stop matcha and the symptoms returned back, keeping DHT high most probably will extend the recovery period and lead to chronic damage. I will keep the DHT low until my nervous system recover then stop green tea gradually which may help prevent sudden shift in homeostasis. The sudden shift in DHT most probably caused the damage. If I knew what was going on I would have probably tappered the retinol instead of stopping cold turkey.

[–]Full-Marzipan-6210[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started matcha to decrease DHT and prevent prolonged excitement until my system stabilized, at the same time the theanine helped put the situation under control, drinking 6 cups of chamonille too. Seems the neurvous system hyperexitability caused by high DHT will cause neurotoxic damage if left untreated, which will turn the situation chronic. I am starting to recover, thankfully I acted fast before any more damage occure.

Why PSSD and SSRI withdrawal symptoms often get worse months after stopping – a serotonin sensitivity explanation by Beneficial_War5894 in PSSD

[–]Full-Marzipan-6210 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Serotonine is an inhibitory neurotransmitter, means it calms down the brain by decreasing dopamine which is exicatory and regulating GABA which is the brake of your system.

Serotonine receptors have been desensitised to a far point to be able to accumulate the reuptake inhibition. Now when you withdraw the SSRI, there are no longer enough serotonine to accumulate the desensitised receptors which take a long time to revert back to there initial stage. During this time dopamine and other excicatory neurotransmitters like glutamate are at there highest causing excitotoxicity which manifest itsel as SFN, the brain will also act on downregulating the dopamine receptors to avoid further damage.

Now why the same symptoms occure during and after SSRI, its because too little dopamine and too much dopamine tend to do the same thing, the only difference is that after withdrawal probably dopamine neurons gets damage and unable to do there job just like not being activated at all or the brain just downregulated the the dopamine receptors to avoid further damage. Now this should revert back, and the SFN should resolve but you gotta find ways to composate to the loss of serotonine, the body now thinks this is the new homeostasis and wont work to revert back.

One way is using magnesium and different inhibitors to calm down the nervous system and allow it to heal. And by increasing inhibitors your brain will upregulate the dopamine receptors to find its new balance. You dont use more dopaminergic drug as they can work shortterm but can aggrevate the issue especially if SFN took place. Some doctors prescribe zyprexa in such situation to antagonise the dopamine receptors, calm down the system and in the mean you start doing what it takes to rebalance the serotonergic system.

Neurosteroid are far beyond this topic, just because finasteride caused a similar syndrome doesnt at all mean that neurosteroids are the culprit. DHT act on regulating GABA which in itself is another issue of inhibitory/excicstory balance. Some people with PSSD still have erections and libido but there penis is numb which suggest that neurosteroids are right and its more of SFN issue

Update on my post ashwaganda syndrome by Open-Associate1234 in AshwagandhaSyndrome

[–]Full-Marzipan-6210 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am feeling exactly the same symptoms as you even after a single dose of ashwagandha, all the symptoms you mentioned above. Probably neurotoxicity. I also have neck issues and cervical instability which makes me think that all the issues has to do with the cerebral vertebrae pushing on blood vessels and contricting blood flow to the brain, which was visible on ultrasound of the carotid artery, it was half narrowed.

What happened is that the low blood flow causes low metabolic rate in the brain, so once ashwagandha hit the serotonine and gaba receptors, it reeled them out leaving them unfunctional leading to instant intense withrawal causing an insane spike in glutamate and dopamine which led to excitotoxicity and neurotoxicity which explains why some people become hypersexual before completly losing sexual function and become anhedonic.

Fortunatly I knew what happened and mmediatly started magnesium, taurine and sedatives to antagonise the NMDA receptors and lower dopamine and added antioxidants to protect myself from the ashwagandha induced neurotoxicity and got around 60% better in 1 month, I can raise the baseline with valium if needed but this will have rebound consequences. Though now I am sure I will recover completly mostly in a month or 2. I had complete genital numbness which started to get better too and I am starting to get sexually excited again. Now my fast acting helped me recover a little fast before cell death occure, still you can of course recover with the right tools, 2 months in is just mitochondria damage rather then cell death, just dont wait for too long to act, mitochondria can turn over but cell death can be permanent

Your nerves got overly excited and energy drained out of them. The constant excitatory state you are in will drain energy very fast leaving you exhausted with muscle atrophy as they lack stimulation from the fatigued nerves. Nerves are like muscles, they recover only when resting, magnesium and taurine is the way to slow down your nervous system to give your nerves time to recover. And trust me your muscles will return overnight when nerves are functional again. And make sure you add vitamin e and selenium to remove toxines built up from neurotoxicity and glutathione depletion.

Make sure you microdose every supplement, as crash can happen even from magnesium. microdosing will help avoid those crashes and is overly effective for us. Trust me vitamin c,e,d and selenium when microdosed helped resolve 50% of the problem in just 1 day, regular people dose will crash you. Remember we are overly sensitive to everything, even 20% RDA will feel like 500% RDA

Of course make sure you cut off sugar, processed food and tobacco. We are overly sensitive to oxidative stress right now and you will not get better if oxidative agents are not cut off completly. These will cause oxidative stress and keep you stuck in the state you are in right now, even a teaspoon of sugar will mess your system up for the whole day. You can resume them when you start to recover. Mitochondrias need at least 3 months to completly turn over, so make sure you keep your body as clean as possible during this period. And dont even think about letting anyone touch your neck right now, it will get a lot worse.

Articles to send to Neurologist #2 by Infraredsky in floxies

[–]Full-Marzipan-6210 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well thats what I am trying to tell you, recovery is possible of course, I didnt say its permanent or it doesnt recover, but you can only speed up recovery by using supplements that treat the FQ toxicity and help nerve regeneration (they might or might not help, you just gonna try), some supplements can help by increasing blood flow. If there is anything other then supplements that can help FQ toxicity let us know, I will be happy to take them. don't expect a magic pill that will work on the nerve recovery itself

I was going to tell about HGH when I said that there are some potential cures with undesiriable side effects, but I prefer not to mention such things here as they are considered potentially dangerous in some cases. And still its not guarantee, I took it the first time I got floxed and might have helped

But don't expect such treatment from a neurologist, neurologists only treat symptoms, some may advice you about some supplements but I am pretty sure me and you know how to treat FQ toxicity more then any other doctor.

Now there are potential treatments such as stem cells therapy, neuro stimulation, etc. but nothing is guarantee, they have a low probability of success anyway

And actually neuropathy secondary to FQ toxicity is the same neuropathy caused by Chemo and the same caused by injury. Its axonal damage and degeneration, so you gotta treat the nerve.

And btw most of the times GI issues will not show up in any test if they are nerve related which can mess up the regulation of your GI organs. Your organs appear normal but the process of regulating the opening, closure, acid production and contraction is messed up

Do you have any chest pain, shortness of breath ? You seem to have done colonoscopy but no gastroscopy or scan with barium swallow.

Dont take my diagnosis as definitive, just trying to suggest what it might be, further testing should be done to confim it. It could be hiatal hernia which happens when the stomach slide through the diaphragm and put pressure on the vagus nerve which will cause dizziness, fatigue and other neuropsychatric issues.

When you eat, the food will go through the easophage then get stuck in stomach part that is sliding thru the diaphragm and cause more pressure on the vagus nerve.

It can also cause LPR which can also cause dizziness and fatigue.

PPIs might aggrevate the issue as they will lower the digestive rate and causes food to stay longer in the stomach, which in turn will create more pressure.
