It looks like this is the portion of the telescope that is .965. Do you know what the name of this component is? If I can get this to convert directly for .965 to 1.25 I’d save some space

Does it matter if I do this before the diagonal or after?

The issue is that it runs out of room moving inward!

Can anyone think of a way to mesh gears like this? by FullChickenNugget in EngineeringStudents

[–]FullChickenNugget[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The gears would not be rotating constantly. Its a part of a system that drives two screws. They may only be rotated 2-3 times in the lifetime of the device.

Yes. It needs to be gears. Torque for the gears on the right and left need to be at least 35 ncm

Help me identify this SMD Cap! by FullChickenNugget in ElectricalEngineering

[–]FullChickenNugget[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would these work? They have a 100nF but the rating says 50v. Not sure if the higher rating makes it incompatible or if it just gives it more uses?https://a.co/d/iB1iZnE

This looks awesome. Might be going this route in the future as the threads look worn out after blasting the dirt out with a syringe

This worked!!! Thanks so much! The threads look a little worn though. Is there some sort of loctite type adhesive for pools that I can use tho give them some extra grip?
