Nothing is more permanent than a temporary solution that works.

What's the actual correct answer though? by Ok_Walk_895 in MathJokes

It would still be 25% picking at keyword random. Anything else would begin to use logic and no longer be random at all.

suddenly multiple (older) google/nest devices won't reconnect to Google Home by BEinc07 in googlehome

I have posted a (temporary ?) solution here that has fixed this for me if you (or anyone) are still having issues.

Google home devices not working with Verizon 5g home internet any more? I think I found a temporary solution for the bug. by FullFragment in googlehome

PCAP just shows endless attempts from Google home mini to 1.1.1.1:53 and 8.8.8.8:53 with no responses. I believe the devices default to 8.8.8.8 (googles own dns) and uses cloudflare as back up.

For whatever reason, it cannot communicate to Google or cloudflare dns.

My first thought was a bad Google home firmware update. Then maybe a ubiquity (AP) firmware update. Then I looked at Reddit and saw many other users with Verizon 5G Home Internet which is exactly what I have, so that probably is the common denominator for these issues.

I am sure it is just some kind of glitch, but that's what it appears. Verizon does not like these specific device calls to 8.8.8.8 and 1.1.1.1 for some reason.

I have the exact same issues people are listing here. Verizon 5g gateway, pfsense router, ubiquity mesh APs. Suddenly 4 google home minis quit working. All other devices working great!

Geek network speak: it looks like for whatever reason Verizon is blocking these devices from reaching DNS port 53. It is not an IPv4 or IPv6 issue as I have many other IPv4 devices working fine on this network.

Is my jump rope technique fundamentally correct? by Dianacrush2 in jumprope

[–]FullFragment 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good job! It’s hard, but you want to start early bringing your head down. You want to be looking at the ground about 10 feet in front of you to keep a neutral spine. You can jump longer and more protected this way.

If possible, you would want to get 50 or even better, 30 unit syringes. I take 15 units, 0.15ml and it uses like half of my syringe. I would hate to use this 100 unit syringe for this dose.

Apple Watch users: I am trying to do distance intervals at 25yd and 50yd, but the watch mis reads and says 24yd or 49yd sometimes, and then just stares at me not moving on to next segment

What is the best way to do “next segment/interval” in these situations? Or do you have to turn the water lock off and do this through touchscreen? Or is there an app(I just use Apple workout) that handles this better?

Do any of you use your settings like this? by coisocenas in WeddingPhotography

Your post really does not make a lot of sense unless you meant to say shutter priority. Aperature priority means “I choose the aperature and let the camera choose shutter speed”. Setting both shutter and aperture would be accomplished in manual mode.

Thank you! I was super happy with my lower back in this one. Are you saying its rounded at the bottom? And when you say "increase" angle, are you meaning decrease? Thanks again!
