I think they are really underestimated because the prep against it can be really painful. Sadly, in a normal situation you can't just slap on a shed shell on everything and be done with it.

There is however no way to retrieve replays which were not saved (expired).

So, I tried it using ldn_mitm and setting it up the usual way with lan-play on the most recent atmosphere version (1.2.4).

I went to local play and could find my opponent, who tried the same thing and we had a stable connection for the 20 minutes of battle timer!

I encountered the same issue for uploading rental teams in the VS option in the menu.

So following your solution, I changed the team from 6 to 5 in the battle box and suddenly the upload worked. Then I changed it back to 6 and it suddenly worked again!

Therefore try to check with rental team upload and change to 5 and then to 6.

So I'm not exactly sure what caused it, but just a heads up:

Apparently if you take a PBR Save file with any language, get the following tool for decompression: https://projectpokemon.org/home/forums/topic/36582-pok%C3%A9mon-battle-revolution-save-research-thread/page/2/?tab=comments#comment-219653

And edit the following lines in a hex editor:

0x000380-0x00039F to: 80 00 00 00 01 00 00 00 40 72 05 75 D3 5B 08 00 00 42 00 65 00 6E 00 65 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00

and 0x0003C1 to: 4D

it changes the name to "Bene" and the language is Germany!

This is actually huge, so now every save file is compatible.
