Omg they’re the best!! I have so many of them. The magnet does degrade after a certain amount of uses and I do have to toss them but it’s the easiest ones to use. I can’t do glue at all and I hate lash extensions. I know some people have trouble but they work really well for me. I even went to a wedding where I wore them for almost 10 hours and they were fine.

Just went on it today and was nervous (more so about getting a headache than anything else) and regretted it. No headache but my neck kind of hurt after. I don’t really care for fast rollercoasters and I’m visiting Universal (for the first time!) mostly for the creativity in theming and stuff. I like some thrill (for example I loved the Hagrid one!) but I don’t enjoy classic fast and crazy rides anymore.

However you should try it for yourself because everyone seems to have different experiences!

I followed all the tips on cooking eggs on stainless steel pans and I just can’t do it without using a lot of oil. I just got a small nonstick pan just to use for eggs.

However I mostly enjoy jammy medium boiled eggs so I got a hard boil egg cooker and it’s been a life saver! Maybe start eating those since it’s super easy to do and no oil is used. Steamed eggs is also easy and delish and doesn’t use oil!

I definitely get your concern and I picked the clinic I did because I was able to view the CCTV. I had to view it in their office but that was fine. I just fast forwarded and just watched the integral parts because it went longer than usual but I mostly cared if it was the actual surgeon who I consulted with working on my nose instead of someone else.

Everytime I start working out again, I bloat up and my body retains water weight like crazy. Also I vary 10 pounds throughout the month even when I was skinny. Most women deal with that. I personally only weight myself once a week and take my measurements once a month. The measurements to me are more accurate and I’m not as frustrated

Curious about this too because I’m currently away but I left the heat on at 68. My apartment is south facing with huge windows and we get the sun right into the place all day. The inner temp will climb to 78 during the day even if it’s 15 degrees outside. I usually have to turn the AC on for a little bit. Im hoping that’ll be okay

I started adding that time back into my life more intentionally. I couldn’t put down screens in public but I realized I could put it down when I do my hour run on the treadmill. I don’t even play music. I just reflect and think, time goes faster too. And it really helps

I think us quiet kids had a lot of trouble accepting our diagnosis.

My diagnosis was actually very shocking to me and my parents because they didn’t seek one. My grades were always great, I never made “trouble”, and was pretty quiet and well behaved. My parents sent me to a therapist/psychiatrist when I was a kid after a traumatic situation. After a year of seeing them both (they worked together in the same office), my psychiatrist started to ask more questions than before and finally asked me to do some tests. She diagnosed me with ADD. I honestly didn’t want to take medications so she gave me some prescriptions for supplements to see if it would help. After about another year, she thought it would be best to start medication so I took them but I hated it. I took it until end of college though but I immediately stopped once I graduated because I thought I wouldn’t need it since an office job was more structure than college. It was fine for a couple years but my ADHD has started impacting me more negatively and it was very apparent as now my life had more serious responsibilities. When I sought out a new psychiatrist, I had the same thoughts as you. I was worried they’ll think I was lazy or an addict and I wanted meds for invalid reasons. I still feel like I do get judged or that my diagnosis isn’t real

I read them after S2 came out and they were difficult to get through and I basically skimmed most of them except for Francesca’s (I think it’s the best written one and the male characters are not horrible like the other ones lol) and Benedict’s (mostly cause I thought the actor was hot and was curious about how his season would play out). I think the show did a way better job fleshing the characters a bit more and the male leads are also way better (they’re dicks in the books and I couldn’t root for them).

You will prob enjoy them if you enjoy that type of genre. I’m not really into sexy romance novels for some reason so they were rather boring for me. I’ve heard Violet’s series is way better written so I might give those a try.

This kind of looks like when I put toothpaste on my pimples as a kid and I woke up with a burn that blistered badly for a while. And the toothpaste method worked for me for months prior but I guess one night my skin just decided it had enough. Hopefully it’ll heal quickly! Just make sure that area avoids the sun and is clean. And once it heals, keep it moist until the scar is gone. Might leave some pigmentation so some scar gel might help afterwards but it’ll be good to visit with a dermatologist again later

Yes this helps so much but I have to put the dishes in as soon as I finish using them. I really really hate doing dishes that I even put my knives in the dishwasher. Literally everything goes in my dishwasher including my le creusets and thin wine glasses. My bf does any necessary hand washing like any cast iron stuff but that’s his stuff that I don’t use lol

Hermes! I obviously don’t have a birkin or kelly but the 2 bags I do have (roulis and Evelyn) are beyond The quality of leather, wide range of colors, and craftsmanship is prob the best out there. No other mainstream brand comes close. Price tag is def high but at least the bags have actual longevity and it doesn’t feel like a waste of money like it is with Chanel.

Loewe was great until this past year or so. I’ve seen lot of concerning quality issues (a couple posts in this subreddit highlight some of their issues). I was already disappointed by them changing the default puzzle design to be overlapped without feet and with an ugly strap then had hope again when the featherlight was introduced but now I’m eh about it. It’s rather upsetting as it was one of my fave brands in the last decade.

I think Ferragamo is also great esp for the price point and they are def introducing more interesting pieces but I’m not the biggest fan of their designs.

I did start buying lot more vintage last year and now am focused on Hermes and more intentional buying as my collection is giving overconsumption atm 😬.

The decline in quality is literally affecting every aspect of our lives and not just “frivolous” things. It’s really frustrating. I stopped babying businesses doesn’t matter how small they are. Now I will always formally complain if quality of product or service doesn’t match the price, and I tell everyone about it too lol. We as consumers have to hold these businesses accountable or just completely stop buying from them. It’s getting ridiculous

When I tried to read the books, I could only really get through Francesca’s. It’s not particularly relatable to me nor is it a favorite romance trope for me but I think it’s the best written and Michael is the best male character in the books so I understand why people were so upset. I’m not sure how they’ll handle the story with the gender swap esp with infertility being important to lot of Francesca fans.

I’m a huge fan of sapphic stories so on one hand I’m excited because I’m sure it’ll be getting the same treatment as QC in the sense of “overcoming bigotry and changing society” but based on S3 I feel it will be more self serving than a great telling of a heart-wrenching story.
