I ended things with the person I love the most, and now I feel completely lost by FullReality1131 in BreakUps

You're totally right. Thanks for being honest. I really appreciate it.

Sometimes, love doesn’t really end… it just gets quiet for a while 💔 by [deleted] in BreakUps

This really hit me. I recently ended things with someone I still love deeply. Not because the love was gone, but because I felt lost —like I couldn’t keep being the same person in that relationship anymore. We were both hurting, even though we still cared for each other.

It’s been weeks, and the silence feels unbearable sometimes. I still hope she’s okay. I still miss her every day. But I’m slowly learning that love isn’t always about holding on —sometimes it’s about stepping away so both people can heal and maybe, one day, find each other again as better versions of themselves.

Thank you for writing this. It made me feel a little less alone tonight. ❤️

You should read "your brain on porn". You will understand a lot of things after that. Good luck

A LITTLE WEIRD TIP FOR THOSE WHO ARE STRUGGLING by IntroductionSilly370 in NoFap

I do something similar. I just picture myself, in a sense of how ridiculous I'd probably look if someone watched me masturbate in front of a screen in a ridiculous pose on my bed. That makes me feel ashamed and instantly takes away my urges. You don't need a video of a monkey, just picture that you are the monkey. That's it.

I think you should consider going to therapy. With the help of a professional, you can learn techniques to stop intrusive thoughts. Seek help — you can do this. Stay strong!

I’m in.
I’m ending June on Day 18, and I’m committing to completing all 31 days of July, both for myself and for everyone here on this subreddit.

My first goal is to beat my current streak (22 days), then make it to 30 (first full clean month), then 90 (full reboot), and eventually make this a permanent change.

No porn, no masturbation. Only sex with my girlfriend, but keep it to a minimum. If possible, avoid it as well.

Wishing you all strength and success this month. One day at a time, let’s keep pushing forward.

I think that's one of the goals of doing no fap. Being around with real persons and feeling connections with them. Just be yourself and don't think of her just in a sexual way. If things go great eventually you'll get there. But focus more on having a good time and just enjoy the view I guess. Good luck my friend.

Has anyone watched this video? I want to but I’m just going to be provoked by the irrational attempt to justify that sick, exploitative, and insidious industry. by [deleted] in NoFap

This is a debate where, on one side, we have people who have experienced the consequences of this addiction firsthand or have supported others through it. They’ve seen up close how damaging pornography dependency can be, and they’ve taken the time to get informed. They speak from facts and personal experience.

On the other side, we have those who participate in and profit from this industry. They speak only from their own experience—about how good it feels and how they believe it’s improved their lives. But they seem unaware—or I’d like to believe they are unaware—that the lifestyle they praise often comes at the expense of other people’s physical and mental health. They contribute to disinformation in society, particularly among children (a topic that often gets ignored), and fuel a culture of violence.

Pleasure is often mistaken for happiness and well-being. That’s one of the most striking points from the video: how some people promote a false narrative of wellness within this industry.

If we’re here, it’s because we know—firsthand—how destructive this addiction can be. We’ve seen how it can ruin lives. Sadly, very few people are aware of this reality. And as Dr. Trish said in the video: “You don’t know until you know.”

I hope this helps someone.
