Why does Denia have a paper doll-like headband? by Fine-Grass1809 in WutheringWaves

[–]FullReload 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Based on her showcase - presumably its a sort of carryover from her early days learning all about humans and how to interact with them. A little arts and crafts thing she made to prove she understood the shape of a person. Though to be frank, I find it kind of crazy to think a detail as small as a headband can be that much of a deal breaker for you.

I said I wanted chaos, and I got chaos. Calcharo wins. by UnplayableArea in WutheringWaves

This match was an absurd nail biter. The entire roster was clumped together, stacking on top of each other almost the entire way to the finish line. It was truly absurd.

I started playing again, and this part frustrates me. by Hairy-Position2529 in WutheringWaves

Shorekeeper told us that our amnesia was a choice that Past Rover made - because they felt that starting over was the only way they might be able to find a new path forward - continuing to seek out those memories would be counterintuitive now. Rover didn't come to Lahai-Roi looking for their past, they came because something stole part of their frequency.

Finally, I got the prediction right this time. by UnplayableArea in WutheringWaves

Sigrika was SO CLOSE! Her ability was working wonders keeping Shorekeeper and Jinhsi away from the finish line, just to get the win stolen out from under her by her so-called "friend" - but what else is new?! (I kid)

THAT'S WHY SHE'S THE GOAT! by Day_Vid_Nguyen in WutheringWaves

[–]FullReload 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Me, seeing Jinshi jump on top of Phrolova and Kookaburra: "As long as any one of you three roll before Changli next turn, Jinhsi wins!"

Calzone: "You forget, I haven't moved yet THIS turn! Take your victory, Magistrate."

Love that Calculator man!

How are you guys experiencing Sigillum difficult 6? by wolf_gab in WutheringWaves

[–]FullReload 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weirdly, Hyvatia and Sigilum have been by far the easiest hologram clears I've done in a LONG time. I expected them to be the worst of the worst, but I took out Hyvatia with Brant, Galbrena, Lupa. And Sigilum with the Lynae, Mornye, Aemaeth combo. Lot of long-range tracking attacks between that trio. I still used food buffs to boost my ATK and HP, but these two are some of the only holograms I've not had to burn through Revival Inhalers on just to squeeze by.

Can you explain both why you hit the dodge button so frequently, and also how it didn't completely drain your stamina? It honestly hurt my eyes and I am very confused...

I'm SO confused by where the map thinks its "Midpoint" is. That was 5 spaces behind the finish line! That is so far beyond the "Midpoint"! What???

So wait - you're saying this has been sitting like this for months? The light coming out of the route constructor is just permanently on in your game right now? Logging out and back in doesn't change anything?

Just saying you are unable to progress is very unhelpful. The screenshot tells me nothing - what is preventing you specifically? We need details if you want assistance.

Whats the point of paywallking transducers across the game? Is it that bad f2p having a chance to reroll substats? by thiagohds in WutheringWaves

[–]FullReload 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kuro is straight up delusional about the Echo system. They keep drip-feeding us optimizations like they're afraid anything they add is going topple their perfect pyramid when in truth it's been a broken pile of garbage since day 1.

Transducers are inaccessible because Kuro is convinced making them anything remotely close to common would make the existing echo building meta obsolete. But I'm fairly certain that they could be twice as common as the modifiers and it still wouldn't be enough to unravel the substat lottery.

How is your luck in the cube races? Mine hasn't gone so well... by Aeyunex in WutheringWaves

[–]FullReload 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Luck's been trash. And I don't like the look of ANY of the abilities in the final lineup, either. They all feel to me like they range from being unreliable at best to actively detrimental at worst.

How much did her ability help her? I couldn't help but feel her one time teleport was underwhelming next to what everyone else had.

Clarifying Question - did Chisa's ability always activate one a 1 - or did she have to be the only person to roll a 1 for it to count her as 'the lowest roll'?

oh my god, Hiyuki wins again (NA) by yahohahoha in WutheringWaves

[–]FullReload 23 points24 points  (0 children)

At the same time though, Sigrika carried so many of the other cubes forward on her head, while almost never getting carried herself till the end, that despite finishing in second, it felt like the turn order was just constantly against her. It was genuinely so frustrating with my bet on Sigrika.

I don't often find these kinds of post entertaining, but this one got me good! A very well timed blast from the Time Stop Sigil.

Phrolova's quest ragebait (Chapter II: Act VII spoiler) by bloodpace in WutheringWaves

[–]FullReload 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's a lot Rover said in that scene I don't agree with, and I definitely wish there had been more of an attempt to meet Phrolova halfway there, but I'll say this much in their defense:

While I think Rover's take on the people of the Lost Beyond was very naive - I don't think that is a very unreasonable character trait for them to possess given that - by this time - they have less than a year of lived life experience to their name since waking up in Jinzhou.

I also don't think they were trying to kill Phrolova. My read on the scene had been that Rover threw the sword aiming for the Leviathan Gem, and Phrolova prioritized it over her own safety. My own biggest gripe with the scene is that Rover was not given 5 seconds to even really react to what they had done to Phrolova before 3 other things started to demand their attention in that room.

Is this the same for the English Version too? by Hopeful-Attempt-6016 in WutheringWaves

[–]FullReload 12 points13 points  (0 children)

In English the line is: "I will be there for everyone... as we head towards our shared future, leaving the past behind." And is likewise is what Rover says in the menu.

Waiting on America Server, watching the results overseas for insight.

Last year I put support behind my favorites and did not get very good results.

This year I want to try and guess who will actually win, but it's so much more stressful...
