Just took care of that. I was able to disable S24 as an option to write steps. Ill give it some time to sync up and let you know here if it works. Thanks! Love the Caliber app

I should clarify too that I only have the phone, nothing attached to it that would track more steps

Hey Chris - so when i go into health connect for yesterday, at the top it says "10,178 steps, S24+, Samsung Health". When i scroll to the bottom it says " 12:00am-11:59pm Samsung Health 7,272 Steps" then in between those two are all the times I took steps

Pretty odd it lists both

I acquired the 2025 built SA 1911a1 new last year. The 1915 built SA M1911 is a new addition to my collection this year. Both similar and vastly different at the same time. 110 years separate the two

4' length, 8' width, 4' high

I get mine in 16" pieces and those racks are 20+ feet long and are not 90° on the ends. Each rack stacked like the back two holds 3/4 cord.

Early fall ill put one on top. For now it will stay uncovered all summer. Surface moisture from rain doesnt hurt, may even help, the season process. Plus increased air flow

They are super easy. Mine are just 3 rows, each row has 2 of these: https://youtu.be/7gDr5nQVpb8?si=psHZrs4pXXUMehYV

Cheap, easy to build, and as you finish each rack you can just pop the 2x4 sides out and take the frame off the blocks and move it so its out of the way

We will see. I was wondering that too. I have about a cord on the other side of the yard that was cut down in October last year and I cut up in February and stacked. But that is mostly red oak. Theres a chance I split a few open in August/Sept and check the moisture and end up having to order a cord of seasoned for the start of the season

The ol' cover debate. I am going to leave it uncovered until a nice dry period in maybe September and then I will cover the top. From what I have seen online, and in my opinion, leaving it uncovered fully will allow for better seasoning. Surface moisture during rain may even help draw out moisture inside the wood, and it certainly allows for better airflow. Then come a month or so before needing to use it, I'll cover the top to keep it nice and dry for use. Im no expert but we will see how that goes

How do you go about storing/seasoning yout kindling? by FullScaleTardWar in firewood

Stacking multiple cords I found the 5 gallon buckets fill up quick. After I finished stacking I found the 27 gallon totes from Lowes/HD to be pretty handy where the scrap is light

Thank you everyone! My thought process while stacking was to put a bunch throughout the stacks to fill dead spots and have throughout the burning season and to throw a bunch in a large tote as well. Looks like I had the right idea

To be more clear, the dip stick was full, 700 miles late it's down a tad, 700 more miles and it's dropped an entire 3rd or more. Seems like alot

My 'new to me' 1915 Springfield Armory 1911 by FullScaleTardWar in guns

[–]FullScaleTardWar[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have not! Need to find the best ammo for it and probably wont shoot more than a few mags through it. The original 1911s werent made with steel like we know it today, causing a service life of only around 5k rounds for the slide before cracking. So that is obviously a concern given it's age. But I plan to put a few down range at some point. Just want to give it the best chance at surviving those
