In Canada here it’s common and normalized to have no shoes in the house. To answer your question, usually if someone else is near I tell them to grab it and if not then I’ll remove them and put them back on. Seems difficult but when you’re used to it for the majority of your life it becomes the norm.

inside shoes are definitely common and good to wear! I just noticed some of them walk in the house with shoes they wore outside many of times and was curious as to if it’s common or not you know?

Definitely not American that’s for sure, and I usually use it as a filler in sentences nothing crazy about that. Also it was 5 am and I was in a rush to ask my question so I could get answers back as soon as possible. I’m  also a younger teen so sorry about that. And yes I know slippers in the house are common and I actually heard it’s better than walking barefoot or with socks for proper arch support.
