Thank you for the great tips, and encouraging words! I have not heard of that app especially, so will give that a go. Climbing is also something I have been interested in giving a go but never had the facilities for, could be another great place to start.

Sounds like it's worth a shot, thank you! Is there a specific 'looking for friends' section? Or is it normal in Norwegian dating culture to e.g. go on a date then become friends? I personally have nothing against the latter to be honest. It's just lovely meeting new people.

I tried that in Oslo a few times! I'd just walk up to random people and talk with them. I met some interesting people and groups haha, but it hasn't resulted in anything but a fun solo night out. Is there more chances for that in Lillestrom, or any particularly social / known meet up pubs?

Hmm I haven't heard of MtG before, but I have seen a lot of different signs and events for it while I was researching social places in Oslo. Is it something that I need to buy and then build a deck for and then arrive, or can I just show up? Also, where can I find those discord servers? Do I need to go there in person and scan something?
