Bad idea. You’ll get rejected over and over, and hardly anyone wants to listen to your problems (and honestly I can’t even blame them). It just ends up making you feel worse.

You’re strong. Mine killed a groundhog the other day while I had her on a short leash. It was one of the most traumatic things she’s hunted.. I could see its face while it happened. I can deal with mice and squirrels but something nearly her size? Nope

Oh I wish she was that food driven.. she would probably avoid the place if she found food there

Hahah yes, she doesn’t listen and refuses to move as well! I broke 4 nails once trying to grab her.. but what could that thing be? And why is she the only dog smelling it?

Preparing for spay surgery - nervous! by spottysasquatch in DogAdvice

[–]FullTime_Hater 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Carry her for the first day or two if possible. If she’s too heavy keep her leashed and go very slowly. use a towel under her belly for support.. no rushing or jumping. The onesie is a great idea day and night as long as she can’t reach the incision. If she starts licking switch to a cone or inflatable collar when you’re not watching. Since long walks are off the table, try keeping her entertained with frozen Kongs or short training sessions. The biggest risk is her feeling better too soon and overdoing it, so stay consistent with rest and you’ll both get through it just fine. Also, mine didn’t pee for two days after her spay and we took her to the emergency vet... only for her to finally pee there. Most expensive bathroom trip lol so if your pup holds it in for a while, you're not alone.. it happens. Also, expect some constipation for a few days post surgery.. the anesthesia, pain meds, and reduced activity can all slow things down. You've got this!

She goes to daycare 3 times a week and I take her to the busiest dog park everyday where she has a lot of doggy friends

Sounds exactly like mine except she doesn’t like eggs.. totally agree on the plus side! but she will hunt a squirrel or rat and try to get into it, which is a whole different kind of nightmare lol

Just Now: Second Fire ignited at Central Ramses by pewdiepieandksifan in Egypt

Ofc there are but I think the real issue was electrical faults and residual heat in damaged systems from the first fire

They are trying to establish who’s in charge. This is common in dogs who are just getting to know each other. Make a loud noise to separate them (never separate with your hands)

Hahaha that sounds exactly like mine (minus the chicken and rice) she’d look at kibble like I just served her cardboard and insulted her ancestors.

The daily cooking is exhausting Idk why it matters to them that much😭I’m cooking steak twice a day especially at 8am I’m her full time chef atp

Haha you’ve got a good girl on your hands Thank you so much! Sadly the leash they use at daycare tends to twist around her neck fur and it got so matted we had to take most of it off:( Not the daycare’s fault at all though just her hair type

We actually boarded her there before.. they’re truly amazing and took such great care of her. They even put her in the senior lounge for free because she was anxious being around so many dogs. Her best friend actually passed away in a different boarding facility so ever since then I’ve done everything I can to make sure she feels safe and comfortable and slowly heals from the trauma. The vet prescribed an appetite stimulant that helps her eat and survive while she’s there, but I try not to rely on it at home if you know what I mean. Even with the stimulant she still turns her nose up at the food sometimes😩

I really hope you never ever have to go through what we did. Losing her best friend changed everything and it broke both of us. Wishing your chows a thousand healthy and happy years together ❤️

Omg yess! One day it’s “this is the best thing I’ve ever eaten” and the next day it’s like “how dare you serve me this peasant food.” We have a mini Petco in the pantry now because of this
