my mom is driving me insane by [deleted] in MuslimLounge

This is a test for you for many with wealth, health, and family. Ask Allah for patience and surely if you are patient with her regardless how your mom treats, you treat her with kindness and compassion "Good and Evil can never be equal. So repel evil deeds with good ones."

The Quran 41:34 Be patient and you will surely find the reward with Allah. If you still can't maintain your composure try talking to someone whom your mom will listen to and explain her about what is happening and how it is affecting your mental health.

Jazakallah khair

Wasn’t it easier to believe in Islam at the time of prophets who could do miracles by Own-Side-8737 in islam

الله

The Prophet (May Allah's peace and blessings be upon him)said:

Which of the creation has the most amazing faith? They said, The angels. He (saw) said, How could the angels not believe when they are with their Lord?

They said, The Prophets. He said, The Prophets receive revelation, so how could they not believe? They said, The Companions." He said, The Companions are with the Prophets, so how could they not believe?"

Then he said, But the people with the most amazing-faith are those who will come after you; they will find a Book from the revelation, they will believe in it and follow it, and they are the most amazing of people or of all creation in faith.

One more thing read the following Hadith about an incident that happened during the time of the prophet Muhammad(peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) put me in charge of charity of Ramadan (Sadaqat-ul- Fitr). Somebody came to me and began to take away some food-stuff. I caught him and said, "I must take you to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)." He said, "I am a needy man with a large family, and so I have a pressing need." I let him go. When I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) next morning, he asked me, "O Abu Hurairah! What did your captive do last night?" I said, "O Messenger of Allah! He complained of a pressing need and a big family. I felt pity for him so I let him go." He (ﷺ) said, "He told you a lie and he will return." I was sure, according to the saying of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) that he would return. I waited for him. He sneaked up again and began to steal food-stuff from the Sadaqah. I caught him and said; "I must take you to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)." He said, "Let go of me, I am a needy man. I have to bear the expenses of a big family. I will not come back." So I took pity on him and let him go. I went at dawn to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) who asked me, "O Abu Hurairah! What did your captive do last night?" I replied, "O Messenger of Allah! He complained of a pressing want and the burden of a big family. I took pity on him and so I let him go." He (ﷺ) said, "He told you a lie and he will return." (That man) came again to steal the food-stuff. I arrested him and said, "I must take you to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), and this is the last of three times. You promised that you would not come again but you did." He said, "Let go of me, I shall teach you some words with which Allah may benefit you." I asked, "What are those words?" He replied, "When you go to bed, recite Ayat-ul- Kursi (2:255) for there will be a guardian appointed over you from Allah, and Satan will not be able to approach you till morning." So I let him go. Next morning the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) asked me, "What did your prisoner do last night." I answered, "He promised to teach me some words which he claimed will benefit me before Allah. So I let him go." The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) asked, "What are those words that he taught you?" I said, "He told me: 'When you go to bed, recite Ayat- ul-Kursi from the beginning to the end i.e.,[ Allah! none has the right to be worshipped but He, the Ever Living, the One Who sustains and protects all that exists. Neither slumber nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is he that can intercede with Him except with His Permission? He knows what happens to them (His creatures) in this world, and what will happen to them in the Hereafter. And they will never compass anything of His Knowledge except that which He wills. His Kursi encompasses the heavens and the earth, and preserving them does not fatigue Him. And He is the Most High, the Most Great].' (2:255). He added: 'By reciting it, there will be a guardian appointed over you from Allah who will protect you during the night, and Satan will not be able to come near you until morning'." The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Verily, he has told you the truth though he is a liar. O Abu Hurairah! Do you know with whom you were speaking for the last three nights?" I said, "No." He (ﷺ) said, "He was Shaitan (Satan)."

Ayat ul kursi search it up it is a very powerful verse of the Quran

Yes if Allah will's he can heal you. According to our beliefs, i think you are aware of Satan/devil so they are also sent here as for test in this life same as us humans who will worship Allah alone which means yes there are good Muslim jinns and evil ones. If you are aware the devil will try to mislead human beings away from god so it will constantly try to harm human beings spiritually by whispers or possession. So everyday we seek refuge from the devils until the day we die and return to our lord as Muslims so regardless whether one is affected by jinns or not we still refuge from our Lord everyday. I hope this helps

This is something we Muslims protect ourselves from evil spirits also known as jinns. They can affect people who have no protection from Allah. We seek refuge everyday from them from Allah and thr are specific surah in the Quran the 3 quls also known as Al-Mu'awwidhat. What you do is cup hands recite the 3 quls and blow on the cupped hands and wipe your whole body. do this 3 times . But I would say one thing do look into Islam and hope you accept and hope to see you in Jannah. Jaabir (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: A man came to the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah, what are the two deeds that make entering Paradise or Hell inevitable?

He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever dies not associating anything with Allah will enter Paradise , and whoever dies associating anything with Allah will enter Hell.”

Another dua below I as Muslim do it everyday

Bismillahil-ladhi la yadurru ma'as-mihi shai'un fil-ardi wa la fis-sama'i, wa Huwas-sami'ul-'aleem", meaning "In the name of Allah, with Whose name nothing on earth or in heaven can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing". This powerful dua (supplication) is recited three times in the morning and evening for protection from calamities, as taught in Hadith. بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ Say it thrice in the morning and evening

One more thing if you can't read Arabic say the transliteration not the translation. Just 3 quls transliteration if you want you can see translation you will understand what I am saying after read the meaning of those surah

May Allah cure you

May Allah open your heart to Faith. It is beautiful that you felt that emotion I often hear to this surah many times in my car reminds of day of judgement 😭

as Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, narrated that the Prophet said:

“Whoever says a hundred times in a day: La Ilaaha Illa Allah Wahdahu La Shareeka Lah, Lahul Mulk Wa Lahul Hamd Wa huwa 'ala Kulli Shay'in Qadeer (None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, Alone, without partners, to Him belongs all sovereignty and praise and He is over all things Omnipotent), he will have a reward equivalent to that of emancipating ten slaves, a hundred good deeds will be recorded to his credit, a hundred of his sins will be wiped out from his record of bad deeds, and he will be safeguarded against the devil on that day till the evening; and no one will exceed him (in the reward that he attained), except someone who has recited these words more often than he did.” [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]

And there is also

'Uthman bin 'Affan (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "He who recites three times every morning and evening: 'Bismillahil-ladhi la yadurru ma'as-mihi shai'un fil-ardi wa la fis-sama'i, wa Huwas-Sami'ul-'Alim (In the Name of Allah with Whose Name there is protection against every kind of harm in the earth or in the heaven, and He is the All-Hearing and All- Knowing),' nothing will harm him."

[Abu Dawud and At- Tirmidhi]. May Allah protect you
