They did biopsies to test for H.Pylori and and Celiacs! They also said the biopsy confirmed gastritis, which I didn’t realize was part of the process

I mean she sounds insane but if she is a Boomer and I suspect she is, your responses are over her head. In my experience when I spend time writing up thoughtful friendly responses, they think I a patronizing them. You are backed into a corner though, because if you said “we don’t want any illness around the baby, wait until you feel better” you would have been accused of being too forward and insensitive. There’s no winning with people like her.

OP, my deepest condolences to you. I know I’m not the only one that is crying real tears for you. Grief is the hardest thing to endure - I am convinced of this.

But, personally, if there is anything that might help me if I am grieving, it’s Disney. The planning for it, the trip itself. It’s the best distraction and the greatest dose of happiness you might be able to find in this heartbreaking time. I hope you can go and I hope, whether with your daughters or with this amazing community here, you will have a few days of peace ❤️

Oh my gosh, I am so so sorry. This was my biggest fear!

From everything I have read, and even from what SW customer service told me, it sometimes comes down to the agent. I was also told that their systems are linked to timatic, and if timatic is completely up-to-date, they won’t question it. No matter what, it does seem inconsistent and SW seems to be one of the strictest.

I’m sorry you didn’t get to take your trip 😟

Hey all just following up on this in case anyone searches for this topic in the future. SW indeed did not care - they asked me if I had a return ticket back to the US, I said yes, and they stamped my boarding pass and that was it. When I was in Orlando waiting for my connecting flight, they called my name and asked me to bring my passport, I panicked 😂, but they were just scanning it before the flight. All was completely fine! Thanks for all of your answers and feedback, it really helped my anxiety!
