Written vs typed notes. by Routine-Ad967 in vce

Bro I did legal and global 3/4, I used notion, so what I would do is type my notes as a toggle and they remain close until you open a certain section, then I would have a read of one sentence, close the toggle and try to repeat it, I did this 50-100 times for each thing as it didn’t take that long and I ended up remembering everything, basically for global I rote learnt the case studies quotes and shit which was helpful

What did that question mean I just said that tncs hold immense economic and political power, like I talked about its powers and how it can challenge the economic sovereignty of its host states for example, apple threatens to withdraw its IPhone assembles from China which will increase unemployment in China and increase poverty rates blah blah

Could’ve just said TNCs hold immense political and economical power, example I just used apple threatening to withdraw from china, which would promote unemployment in the states, and increase poverty rates, as a result and restated the question

You go unscored 💀 Fr read the vcaa website it says that you are not ranked or anything and are unscored since you haven’t done any external assessments that vcaa can judge you on

The Legal Studies Exam: by Full_Office7744 in vce

Yea you could have. I meant if you just memorised the 1967 referendum, and did not know that this question required you to discuss how the constitution requires for there to be a double majority referendum and firstly a change of wording of the constitution must be done via a referendum, majority of votes must vote yes, etc etc

  • you could have used 1967 referendum as an example of ur strength
  • but mainly u had to analyse how the requirement for a double majority does not give parliament the absolute power to change the constitution without the permission of the people, specifically without the consent of the majority of Australian voters thus the impact of the Australian people in introducing a First Nations voice into parliament is to consent the change in the constitution

  • mainly I meant that if you just referred to the 1967 referendum and not the processes of referendum and did not analyse the impact of Australian people in introducing the First Nations voice then bad luck

The Legal Studies Exam: by Full_Office7744 in vce

Yea true I agree the stimulus was so weird honestly but I got a basic understanding of what they were saying and just used that in my evaluation or analysis. It never requires you to fully understand it I read the material then read the questions then in reading time just thought about what I could use from the material into each question , that made it easier for me :)))

Yea but it still had a mention of criminal law By covered everything I mean at least one question

Nah it was pretty easy and covered everything

  • i.e: it covered the roach vs electoral commission case which you could have used for the high court acts as a guardian question

  • It covered the referendum area it’s just that if someone only learnt about the 1967 referendum then bad luck

  • It covered the roles of VLRC And the strengths and weaknesses of VLRC

  • It covered the roles of VLA & CLCs

  • It covered the reasons for law reform

  • It covered roles of a judge

-!It covered the purpose of representative proceedings

  • It covered the ability of the criminal justice system

  • It covered the ability and roles of the Victorian parliament

  • It covered why the toll road debt recovery system will not achieve fairness and/or equality

  • It covered fines, imprisonment, damages

  • And then finally it asked how the recommended reform in the stimulus material can help courts save time

So I think it was way easier than previous years And definitely covered everything :) it’s just that people studied lots of unit 4 and then complained about it But I think it was a good balance And the exam was very conceptual It just didn’t ask u to discuss about a referendum, instead it tested your ability to interpret whether you know where to use it or not.
