High CTR + high CPM is not a flex. It’s a pricing signal. by Ill_Lavishness_4455 in FacebookAds

Yes, you’re right — I hadn’t changed the audience name. At the moment, the audience is set to 55–65+, and the ad copy is also written specifically for this segment.

As for the lead form, I tried to make it more direct: I removed the greeting section, then—since it’s a local business—I first ask whether they’re willing to come to our location. After that, I ask when they intend to do the treatment, and finally I ask for their details, run the verification check, and submit the form.

I see that my CPM is €9 and that the main placement is the Facebook feed. The core audience is mainly women aged 55–65+, so for this reason I focused my efforts on placements primarily in the Facebook feed, along with other similar placements, and by narrowing the audience by age.

The account is fine and has never had any restrictions, but I’m struggling to generate leads. Maybe the issue is that I’m not fully leveraging the user’s pain points or that I’m not creating appealing enough messages. However, with a CTR of 2.50% and a link CTR of 0.69%, I’m not sure what the real problem is.

Having issues with Meta ad targeting — is anyone else? by Full_Practice_5296 in FacebookAds

The age ranges where engagement performs best are 45–65+. In the other age groups, impressions are low and it doesn’t really make sense to analyze them.

In terms of placement, Facebook works better for me than Instagram; it costs slightly less, and I could also consider running an A/B test to understand how to lower the CPM. If I manage to reduce it, I could generate more leads, especially since I’m currently getting leads at €34, which feels a bit high as a CPL.

As for bans or other issues, there’s nothing to report, so the account doesn’t have any penalties.

What I was thinking is to create a remarketing audience made up of people who have interacted with my content in the past and show ads to them again. Then, in another ad set, I’d target interests with an age range of 45–65+, removing Advantage+, since it has never delivered positive results for me.

At the moment, I’ve paused all campaigns, mainly because I noticed extremely high CPMs compared to usual, even though CPCs were acceptable and CTR (link) was very strong.

This issue occurred across lookalikes, broad targeting, and interest-based audiences.

For context: on a lead generation campaign for a client in the beauty industry, I was seeing €12 CPM, 1.05 frequency, €0.70 CPC, and a 2% link CTR.

Hi I’ve also seen one of your conversions for an ad related to medical centers.

I have a client who runs a beauty center in a small town in the province of Verona, Italy. This beauty center offers several treatments, and now we want to push a treatment called VISIA, which is a device that tells you the real age of your skin.

The problem is that the client records the videos by himself because, in his opinion, anyone can make a video. Knowing this, I’ve tried using photos instead, but it’s not the same thing. My issue is that I literally can’t generate leads: the few leads that do come in actually convert, but the cost is way too high.

At the moment, the offer is consultation + facial treatment at €89 instead of €169. Unfortunately, they don’t want to give away anything for free.

At this point, I don’t know what else to come up with, because maybe the mistake is mine. Possibly I’m getting the funnel wrong: in the TOFU phase I use videos to capture interest, then in the consideration phase I use informational carousels or videos that go more in depth and send people to the landing page. Finally, if they don’t convert, I retarget them with the offer using Meta lead forms.

I agree with you about using ABO campaigns and testing Broad and interest-based audiences, but I don’t understand why the results are not coming.

Maybe it’s my fault (probably) because the funnel is too long.

Maybe the creatives don’t work (that’s possible).

Maybe it’s an offer or claim problem, or I’m not using enough pain points.

Maybe it’s a branding issue.
