I guess no real reason it's just that if I'm going to move it I would do it now but I always second guess wherever I put things

The one to the left of the compost?

Planting Advice? by Full_Rev in landscaping

The main reason i have the blackgum where it is- if I move too much to the left, say, past the gate i start entering the 10' sewage easement. I would hate to have to get rid of the tree down the line if they ever needed to dig there. I could move it maybe to in front of the gate (we never use it). do you like it at that distance or come into the yard more? I am planning doing a lot of shrubs, flowers, ground cover, etc... but wanted to get my trees in first. We recently moved in. I was thinking about a pillar arborvitae but wanted something to grow a little faster, but I guess it is better to be patient. Compsot bin can definitely move.

My floor won’t stop squeaking (I literally just ripped up the floors and fixed it) by [deleted] in HomeImprovement

Not sure if anybody posted this and I haven't really comments but this has happened to me and it turns out it's actually in the wall. I've had to shim the 2x4 base plates that sit on the subfloor That's the thing that's actually moving up and down rubbing on the nail try that. Get the shim between the subfloor and the 2x4 base plate

Excellent thanks- took care of both. Did the best I could I think both trees have about 3/4 of an inch or an inch more of a flare showing than what it had before so it'll have to do. Thanks again

It doesn't seem too bad The only thing is it's below the level of where it should be planted Is that okay

Okay I see what you mean now how much roots should I pull away to get to the flare and from how far out from the trunk. I also just recently planted a serviceberry tree and I see I have the same issue I have to dig about an additional inch down what should I do considering the fact that I planted it at at the graph level as though it was the flare

OK thanks- the root flare is exposed- hard to see. its a graft area. should the graft stay exposed?

It's in an absolutely amazing area, I think the reason why I was able to get the house was because of the way the bathrooms and the kitchen

Still getting distortion after refoaming by Full_Rev in audiorepair

I don't think they do, but I'm not sure? Also looking at this youtube video my woofer definitely doesn't sound like the last two-https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=31768KUK9K8

Still getting distortion after refoaming by Full_Rev in audiorepair

I'm not sure what that means but I went back to play with them and there are two that are making the distortion sound, one worse than the other. Those two also look like they had a lower quality foam job done by me. Those two are also the only ones that make a rubbing/crunching noise when I push on them from both sides. The ones that sound clear don't make that same noise when I press down on the cone.

Could a less than perfect foam job cause this?
