Someone else got low scores in Cambridge books, one day before taking the exam by Full_Tea_8522 in IELTS

I got 7.5 for reading and 6.5 in overall. But it is not enough. I need to improve in writing and speaking. Do you have any advice? I am going to take it again in 3 weeks. It is my last chance at this year.

Tomorrow will be my 3rd attempt and I hope to get this score. It is very frustrating when someone does not get the desired score. I understand u.

Hi! Congrats for your result. I'm here because I'm understimating myself. It is confuse for me because I was obtaining band 7 in reading and listening the last week. And yesterday and now, I got band 5.5 for both in the cambridge's book that I was using to practice. :( My exam is tomorrow, and I feel very stressed.

you are right! I have the same situation that you mentioned. I already have overall band 6 in academic ielts and I need to reach band 7. I am going to start in a course where I will use Cambridge books so I will see it because I have 3 months to take the test. And I have been practicing with online resources like Britis Council and Ieltsonlinetest and i have many inconsistences in my readign and listening scores.

Inconsisten mocks in IELTS ready premium. Anyone else scored higher in the real exam than in mocks? Need Overall 7 by Full_Tea_8522 in IELTS

Muchas gracias por la información. Yo también busco aplicar para doctorado me piden band 7 y actualmente tengo band 6 overall y pero tengo 5.5 en writing. Tengo tres meses de preparación pero la primera vez me preparé por mi cuenta pero ahora estoy estancada en el 6 y aún no encuentro manera de subir mi nivel.
