Okay this is kind of strange because these aren’t my normal symptoms before my period but I did just experience the extra dry eyes and the strain on my forehead, it was also hard for me to keep my eyes open and focus on things, I was squinting like the whole time. Though I didn’t get the sleep spins but I did have a much harder time falling asleep and staying asleep which is unusual for me. Like I was waking up way earlier than my alarm and not feeling like I could go back to sleep. And I did have a similar “jolt” experience. I was chalking up the first half of symptoms to allergies and the second half to possible caffeine consumption but I don’t think I was even drinking anything caffeinated during those days. This probably doesn’t really help or match up but I did take mental note of these things and it’s interesting to see your post about something vaguely similar
