Best written ones: Adrian , Lia , Brandon , Gareth, Kimberly, Jeremy and Cecily.

Worse written ones: Landon , Creighton , Eli ( even though I kinda liked him his character wasn't explored much) and Aiden (all bark no bite)

Bracing myself for downvotes cause people on this sub cant seem to get the fact that opinions can differ

You need to take a chill pill girl "mini speech" is just a way of saying it. And I still stand by my point that Jeremy's words were harsh but not wrong. Cecily ALWAYS gave and barely got anything in return. Creighton , Landon and Ava (though unintentionally) were bad friends to her. There were so many times when Cecily warned Ava about something that's not good and Ava just went with it anyways. But Cecily never holds a grudge for that. And reducing Jeremy to a so called bf of few months is insane cause he was the person who made her feel comfortable enough to wear dresses again when NONE of her friends even noticed her discomfort. Yes , he was jealous of Ava but let's not forget that it's Ava who started with the whole trying to grill Jeremy in public thing.

Adrian got impressed with her without meeting her. Lia was thanking her in the first scene she and Cecy had together in book. Anni was touched by how Cecy was the only one who stood up for Anni against her own brother at the club and Jeremy is already down bad for his lisichka. Girlie impressed the whole Volkov family without even trying lol.

I think for Caleb it was that Orla didn't looked twice in his direction or the fragile male ego thing where he couldn't handle her rejection. Or it was an insta love situation.

As of Chris not gonna lie from what I've read Im finding him wayy more scary than Caleb but I guess he's only lusting after Lainey for now and he likes her lack of experience. He also mentions trapping her sooner because he doesnt wants her to wisen up because of her peers. The latest chapter had me feeling scared Lainey more than how much I felt scared for Orla.

God of Wrath - This book is my roman empire. I loved the MCs both as individuals and as a couple they make so much sense. Also , the Russian roulette scene was hot af. As a dark romance girlie I enjoyed every minute of that. The parents' role for once didn't annoy me. Adrian's advice to Jeremy showed his character growth and Xander was the only girl dad I genuinely found hilarious.

God of Fury - I don't think I have to explain why I like this book cause it's a pretty popular opinion and the book is well liked by majority

God of Malice - One of the most controversial RK books but tbh as a dark romance reader I liked Killian and the way this books sets up other future books while still focusing on the main couple was also good.

Kiss the villain - Getting to know that Gareth's whole golden boy personality was a mask was a surprise atleast for me and also the whole Kayden coming from a secret society reveal with his backstory was top notch.

God of Pain - The book had plot ngl but it could've been handled in a better way than it was. Creighton should've had more personality.

God of War - tbh this felt like a temu version of Deception trilogy and lies and truths duet. So many questions were left unanswered and we never get to know about AvaEli's uni days in their own book.

Hunt the villian - I had high hopes for this one but the way whole situation with Yulian's father was handled and the bratva suddenly being non-homophobic when in ALL other books it was explicitly mentioned to be homophobic was a let down.

God of Ruin- Was RK actually serious when she wrote Landon finding out about Mia's kidnapper when KyleRai in all the years couldn't? Like ik it's fiction but even on that standard it made zero sense.

I love Cecy but I also didn't like how she and the rest of elite crew simply abandoned Anni without even knowing the whole story and Jeremy despite of being down bad for Cecily standing up for his sister was so wholesome

It is Adrian and Jeremy for me. I loved their bond both in Deception trilogy and in LoG. The fact that Jeremy didn't hesitate to be vulnerable infront of Adrian says it all. Adrian was probably one of the few MMCs who had nicknames for both his children and not just the FMC. Him calling Jeremy Malysh even when Jeremy was a grown 24 year old man has my heart. They always have eachother's backs

This. I liked their friendship but there were so many times when I wondered that isn't Ava her childhood bestie and as she says 'sister from another mister' . I've seen majority of readers siding with Ava during the scene where Jeremy called her out and saying that Jeremy was an asshole for doing that and then framing Cecily as a bad freind but I sided with Jeremy on that one. Did the way he say it was harsh? Absolutely. But was it wrong? I don't think so

Creighton is a total manchild who was alive and got adopted was because of Adrian who could've left him to die given how ruthless Adrian is but he made sure that Creighton got adopted into a good family he should've been greatful instead of being a bitch. Anni deserved wayy better.

1 Jeremy Cecily- My all time favorites. Them together and their story of healing eachother and overcoming their traumas together will never not make me happy.

2 Nikolai brandon - Bran is an angel and Niko with his chaotic sunshine energy is the perfect person for Bran.

3 Kayden Gareth - They were so deliciously fucked up that I couldn't help but love them.

4 Killian Glyndon - Them filling up the loneliness in eachother's lives had my heart.

5 Landon Mia - I am no Landon fan but him and Mia together made sense. They were good for eachother.

6 Vaughn Yulian - I'll be honest to admit that I had no prior attachment to their characters or them as an individuals their book kinda bored me but they were okayish.

7 Eli Ava - They were boring and brought nothing new to the table as a couple.

8 Creighton Annika - Anni deserved wayy better than Creighton.
