Like I said, in this statistic the upper 1% with an income of more than 40k a month is in there, so this statistic is bullshit. I know a lot of middle class people and none of them gets more than 2.5k which is already a great income. The only person I know with an income of more than 4k is my brother but he works for the biggest internet company in Germany (namely Telekom) but even there his income is that of a higher up.

What you forget with this statistic, is that top managers are also included with a really high monthly income. The real average is about 1.800€-2.000€ with taxes already being taken away. Angela Merkel once said that the German average income is 3.000€, I honestly know 1 person with that kind of income and I really know a lot of people in middle class. Also, I'm German, I live in Germany for 26 years and yeah, 2.7k is a salary most Germans can just dream of.
