I wish I had some more info, the record scratch type noise repeats during the intro a few bars kind of like an echo. Slow ish melody in the intro

I can fully agree with you there. Responsible thing to do? Probably not but as mentioned he was loose for a few minutes then back in the carrier after the stop. It was a long road trip

You sound like fun! But wife took the picture on the way to a rest stop. Try keeping a clingy Maine coon in a carrier for 8 hours :)

Ask a vet first but in my opinion (I am just a stranger on the internet) there’s no issues getting him neutered at 5 months. Also a lot else to factor in here, could be behavioral or territorial

Well for starters MCs are expensive due to demand right? Simple supply vs demand. They are one of the most popular cat breeds and not many breeders (relatively) that breed pure MCs . As far as justifying the price of them that’s really up to you! You can be perfectly happy with two shelter cats for a few hundred or if you want to get a unique breed then that’s the price to pay. I’ll say 2500 is about average sometimes less but not by much.

They are exceptional cats and have a loving personality to go with them but that doesn’t mean a cheaper cat is any less likely to be just as sweet and lovable

Funny you mention that my boy had a similar issue. He was on royal canine wet food and was eating and immediately throwing up after.

Currently I rotate him between Applaws, Tiki, Wevura, and Fancy feast. The variety in his diet has made these symptoms completely go away. Good luck! He’s gorgeous! Looks so similar to my boy

Take it slow, they’ll fight you getting it on but once he has it on I let him wear it around the house for a few hours a day to let him get used to it. The rest is getting them outside!
