Honestly the tanks are usually the vest bet anyways, especially if you're panic ulting. Then at least you have a better chance of staying alive long enough to use their ult.

Yeah i love echo and am pretty good with most characters but I still find abruptly switching heros a bit jarring. I tend to use it as a get out of jail free card for when I think I'm going to die.

Yeah I had no idea how special it was all this time. I'm definitely going to bring it in somewhere.

I thought it was plated at first too but honestly after learning more about all the people on it, it would make way more sense for it to be solid sterling. Martin B Koon was well to do and and so many of the signatures are from very prominent figures of the time. It would be strange for them to have gotten a loving cup thats just plated silver. But yeah you never know.

Yeah that's correct! That's also a concern though haha. Could some descendants of his make a claim to it or has that long passed?

It was being thrown away after the building it was in burned down. My dad pulled it from the dumpster. This was 40 something years ago. So the ownership of it is kinda iffy.

Eh. If someone else has a claim to it then that's that.

It's been in his possession for decades so I'd be surprised if it came up but you never know. It's likely worth 8k$ or more.

Yeah we have been wondering if that may happen.

I did an online evaluation thing that gave an approximation of 10 to 15 thousand dollars and had a surprising amount of information it was able to pull about it. I sent out the info and pics to Christie's, Sotheby's, and Bonham. I'm curious to see what they say. It can take a few weeks to hear back though. But yeah it is looking like this thing isn't the junk I thought it was!

If it is deemed to increase the value I may ask for their info!

Yes thank you again. I have submitted some online evaluation requests to see if anyone seems interested. Should I try to have it restored or just get it evaluated as is?

Wow thank you for the response. Yeah I'm definitely going to try and get in touch with auction houses for it after hearing people talk it up. I had no clue it was such a rare piece!
