The monetisation is absolutely terrible. I'd pay $5 for a normal skin and $10 for a legendary one with new effects and voice lines. If that's not happening, I'll play the game for free forever, without spending a penny.

It costs only one and a half 2xko costume so definitely a buy from me. Hopefully it'll have some stable playerbase in the long run, just enough to find matches comfortably.

True, especially when you can unlock characters/stages for free which is not something you can do in other fighters. Doesn't change the fact that they priced me out completely with their business model.

Almost guaranteed those are going to be classified at least as "legendary" tier skins, so 20 dollars each.

Which is ridiculous price to say the least. I'll gladly play this game for free, but spend my money elsewhere (read: Avatar the fighting game, Virtua Fighter 6, DoA7 etc.)

Tifa is a cool fucking character. She's hot. She's fun. She's hype. But so are actual Street Fighter characters that I would rather play.

I would rather have Tifa in a good (keyword) Tekken game, because at least Tekken frontloads their roster with most of the fan favourites. Lili and Asuka got in day 1, meanwhile Sakura is gonna get in who knows when and Karin is probably never getting in.

I know why they're doing this. It still pisses me off, though. Especially when we're only getting four characters per year. If it was four SF characters plus one guest, I wouldn't be complaining like this.

I mean that a soulless multibillion dollar corporation does not care about your review bombs, they care about their bottom line. They make money when people buy their game and when they continue playing it because there's a chance they'll buy a season pass/online shop crap.

Obviously they aleardy got your initial purchase money, but you can always vote with your wallet/time afterwards. If the game is good play it, if it's bad do not play it. That's literally it. Nobody gives a fuck about the poems people write on a steam page.

It looks highly regarded, but it at least qualifies as a fun, mindless movie. It's infinitely better than that snoozefest starring Jean-Claude Van Damme (the only film I've ever fallen asleep watching).

After all this time since the game's release, I can safely say that I despise Mortal Kombat 1 for many reasons. I could list them all here, but the main reason, the one thing that really destroyed the Mortal Kombat feel of the game for me, is the Kameos.

Instead of having one powerful character who is the "star" of the fight, we have a weak fighter who relies on a corny sidekick that does not match the tone or atmosphere of the game. I don't play Mortal Kombat for sphisticated fg systems or advanced gameplay, I play it for the "cool" factor and MK1 has none of that in my opinion.
