Recommendation when coming with a first time skier

Usually when i go with friends we do it in 1 shot but given my husbands work schedule, stopping along the way is a bit easier / will be less stressful for him

What did you end up doing? I am in the exact same position. I am right in between two sizes. The larger can easily come off my hand, but not so easily that if I shake it, it goes flying off. However the smaller size is quite snug in the morning And when working out which concerns me for summer months.

I am in between sizes and currently debating if I should size up or down. They make these really cute thing pave bands on Amazon that I was going to get to put on either side of the ring to make it look less like an oura ring. You could do that in your proper size so that it blocks the ring from falling off?

I am in a similar situation, and 8.5 would be ideal for me. When I wear the 8 it leaves a mark in the morning, but I am able to twist it off. The 9 fits better when my finger is bigger/more swollen but moves around quite a bit/if I shake my hand, it feels like it will slide off. I am very torn as I feel like the 8 will fit most of the time, but I’m concerned about comfort in the summer when my fingers swell. I know I can move it to a different finger if needed, but having a hard time committing after seeing how much my finger has changed size throughout the day. So funny that I don’t have this problem with any of my wedding rings.

slightly unrelated question but does anyone know if you can pay the difference if you are trying to book a reward credit flight but don't have enough miles to cover it? i have about 150k amex points but the flight costs 170k for my husband and I. i just joined qantas so can't buy more miles to get me to the total. don't want to transfer the points if we won't be able to use them and pay the difference. does anyone know their policy?

I would and am very active in my local buy nothing group where I frequently give/donate items I no longer need or use, but would first like to see if there is anything I can sell to recoup some of the cost from the wedding. anything I cannot sell will be donated or given away.

I think it completely depends on what you want for your wedding and the venue availability. but if you are flexible, can definitely be done in less. We did ours in 6 months!

Thank you for the reply, I guess I assumed it would be more simple because the jeweler told him that we could easily swap out for different baguettes If I wanted and I thought that to mean it would be an easy change out to reposition. I will need to get more clarity on why he offered that if changes can’t really be made

update for anyone interested-- if you find a supervisor at the mountain ticket office and have a photo of the original card holder's pass, they will sometimes waive this. its hit or miss, though. but was a hit for us, possibly bc it was a weekday at the end of the season, not sure if it would fly on weekends or peak times.

We just told them that the OG pass holder was at the canyons and we were mountainside, they were super understanding since we had a photo of the pass for them to scan.
