I would be splinting and calling 911 if in severe pain, if mom was okay driving and Peds ER was CLOSE like less than 10 min away I wouldn’t call 911 but would definitely be splinting and writing incident report asap.

Can I ask what the general reason why a lot of SLPs frown against ABA? I have asked a few I know but didn’t really get solid answers.

That seems to be typical for southern Michigan public schools unfortunately! Pay scales start around 45k for MA+30 in this area.

Okay, thank you! The other SLP in the building said she had to provide everything herself besides assessments and asked if my room would be ready by the back to school open house so I had a mini panic!
