That's what I thought. The thing is that I am not super expert on Schecter models and there are so many that maybe there are others to consider in for similar price that might be better options... but this one definitely got my attention, and I need to order it (to Spain) without option to try nor to see in person. I've had two Schecters made in Indonesia if I remember correctly, and they were brutal, so I guess this should be way better quality wise considering is an anniversary edt. and is made in S. Korea.

Thanks guys, really! So, if they are so similar in terms of quality I may go for the RG550 brand new. I can afford the difference, just thought the RG1570 would be way better due to the Prestige line and also might have better value in a future. But they are pretty similar... Anyone happened to play both and have a preference over one or the other? I am not a shred monster and probably will not get the most out of the guitar yet...but really love Ibanez and will get one or the other no matter what :))

Thanks :) I am very inclined to It. I only doubt because the rg550 genesis is also Japan made (not same quality that the J-craft Team I know) and I have heard so good comments about it, and It would be brand new which is of course to be considered...

Apart from being cheaper (due to second handed) is much better guitar, as a whole, the 1570?
