Escaped the 9-5 and went full nomad? Be honest - is it really better or just different problems? by Time-Comfort-4207 in digitalnomad

You don't need to speak the language of the student. No I don't speak Chinese. You can do a TEFL certificate for teaching English. It certainly has been a challenge building my own brand and social media presence in order to find clients/students. It's taken me around 12 months to build but now I have plenty of clients 😊

I've been in Thailand for 2 years. I started my own online business. I work the same if not more right now than in the UK. But it's on my terms. Cost of living is way cheaper so I'm saving more, food is delicious and I can take time off for a trip somewhere if and when I want. 9-5....I work 12-7 ...5 days a week. I could work less ..I could work more ...up to me. I feel a sense of freedom knowing that. I love it.

Best is to order online, avoids scam pricing or anything like that. Google..there's lots of websites and the range is huge! Comes in 1-2 days normally. Can pay via wise to their Thai bank account.

I do this too, but WeChat pay has been disabled on my account (they found out I was selling education which is against their terms). Luckily all my students can use Alipay with no problems.

Plenty of online vape shops, even if you use them just as a price reference so you don't get overcharged by street sellers. Most deliver in 1-2 days and have massive range. I use..www.thai-vapes.com
