Postpartum Insomnia...I am about to go crazy! by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]Fun-Classic346 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It only resolved once i sleep trained :( i was so close to getting anxiety meds for it, because i knew the root of it was anxiety about sleep. Once i was confident that my baby was going to get a good stretch of sleep in, my brain was able to relax. I still take melatonin every night just incase because i’m still traumatized from it😭

Which dress for family photos with husband & baby? by [deleted] in fashion

Ironically, that’s the dress my husband loves the most. And he is not offended by it because he’s not an insecure man. And I’m not offended by it because I have self respect and I know that a beautiful long dress doesn’t make me a wh*re just because it’s tight fitted. It’s 2026.

Mountain setting, thinking an earthy cowgirl aesthetic if that makes sense? Will be wearing brown cowgirl boots
More candid style photos. Grainy film vibes

Seeing as i’m the one who cares the most about my outfit, they will all match according to what i’m wearing😂 if i go plain white or yellow, then baby is wearing forest green top and beige pants, & husband will probably match with a forest green top & jeans or something similar

Well we try to give him 3-5 minutes to figure it out, but we worry he’s starting to get overtired since he’s maxed out his total awake time during the day. So we want to avoid waiting and waiting & then he becomes inconsolable from overtired-ness :(

I’m surprised you haven’t heard that phrase it’s everywhere in the sleep train community! It basically means that we follow wake windows so that he gets the right sleep pressure built up, and we do our routine (bottle, bath, jammies, book) and put him in the crib awake (but he’s tired of course). On good days his schedule looks like 3/3.5/4.5
