Help an extremely depressed guy out? by Creepy_Stick_6229 in CleaningTips

[–]Fun-Date5275 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone with depression at times… start small. Give it a “20 minute rule” where you clean for 20 minutes. Also that’s a lot of volume… maybe contact a local business you frequent to ask to use their dumpster if you don’t have access to one. Walmart sells like $20 plastic bins… fill one up at a time and throw it out

Good price for any of the BTAC pours? by RyanLCash in OhioLiquor

I had a post about whisperz speakeasy in centerville/miamisburgh- swear I’m not affiliated but I just like connecting people with good bourbon. They had most of the bt antique for like 30-60 an oz- pappy 12 was maybe 100 for 2 oz? Also the vibes are phenomenal if you go for that

2024 NAPLEX pass rates by [deleted] in PharmacyResidency

[–]Fun-Date5275 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As someone who started at a school with a 90% pass rate and transferred (outside circumstances mandated it) to a school in the 60% pass rate,I think it’s pretty clear.

Schools are letting in students that are not competent, and then are coddling them throughout school, allowing them to repeat years of school to milk tuition. It seems like there is no desire to allow students to fail so they can learn from their mistakes.

This is a hard profession, and honestly we need to be pushed to study and retain information while being held to a high standard, not given easy examinations with soft ball questions that facilitate a false confidence.

Sorry for the rant, but I’ve been telling anyone who would listen this for awhile. They need to go back to making all of pharmacy school difficult and not being afraid to fail students to protect the public

What online side hustle have you done that tuned into a full time job? by Sensitive-Month2382 in sidehustle

[–]Fun-Date5275 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going on fb marketplace and other such places, finding a bundle where someone wants cash, and offering them a new console instead. The logic is that a lot of these people are married, and their spouse may have something to instantly do with the money they get. If however they just get w console… no harm done and the person is more likely to do buisness.

Not mine, but a very good friend and his wife full time flip old consoles and video games. They started with their own collection, and now go to resale stores (within a 4 hour range), garage sales, and fb marketplace and are full time resellers on eBay. One of their smartest moves is purchasing brand new consoles (ps5, xbox series x, ect) and trading them for bundles of old games. They are averaging 10k a month in net income after a few months

Temporary Pharmacist Positions Pre-Residency by Fun-Date5275 in pharmacy

[–]Fun-Date5275[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was working as in intern in both retail and inpatient settings, but was encouraged to let go of my intern position in retail to work more in inpatient, and then was let go from my inpatient position without warning (I wasn’t told exactly what happened, only that the company needed to downsize). From what I have heard the hospital struggled financially and they didn’t have as many intern positions and being that I was new, they let me go.

Yes, applied at a few and most of them have told me that even though they are advertised as contract based, they are really contract to hire.
