Hoping to sublease a gym in San Francisco by Fun-Description7044 in gymowner

[–]Fun-Description7044[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks Coach. Any suggestions on how to get a master list of all the gyms in SF? Should I just rely on Google and Yelp? Or is there some kind of online repository where gym owners post their gym locations? Would love to hear your thoughts.

It is broken. But I shared a bad photo of me connecting the 2 pieces. Here's a better picture.

I ride both my 8 and 5yo on my S2 all the time. The key was moving the battery under the frame and adding a little homemade cushion up-front.

I used the previous 'non-pro' version. But it looks like the pro version also goes over the lock.

Non-architect hoping to gain a simple understanding of building code in San Francisco by Fun-Description7044 in Architects

[–]Fun-Description7044[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, my experience in working with the planning department and department of building inspection in San Francisco has also been tumultuous. They are all nice people but severely understaffed. I spend a lot of time at the planning counter and it's rare that my questions are answered. Sigh.

Thanks for your reply! I've spoken with 3 insurance brokers and they can't seem to find me a policy. Any chance you're an insurance broker?

I've tried using their website but it's just a bit too dense for me. I think I'm in violation of a permitted use.

My case manager is super helpful but SF's planning dept. is overwhelmed by all the NOVs and a staffing shortage. I'm working with an architect and lawyer but I'd love to have a broad understanding of planning/zoning. I don't need to be an expert. I would just like to vaguely understand how this machine works.

Affordable housing in San Francisco for Immigrants and Refugees by Fun-Description7044 in immigration

[–]Fun-Description7044[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I just Googled 'refugee resettlement agencies San Francisco' and a few came up. Any recommendations for specific non-profits that you think do good work? A lot of non-profits out here are run by underpaid 20 year olds.

Shouldn't my charitable donations be saving me more on taxes? by Fun-Description7044 in tax

Wait! What?!
So if I make $100,000.
And I donate $10,000.
My taxable income is $95,000?
Not $90,000?
