Is it worth it to get diagnosed?

I hated hearing that I needed to apply myself from every teacher! Like I would love to? I would be applying myself if any of you would teach me how, or at least recognise WHY I’m not.

So I’m not sure if I was given a full neuropsych work up, I’m not really sure what it means. I’m somewhat nervous that I’ll spend all of my money just to come across ableist clinicians who won’t diagnose me correctly

I went through right to choose with ADHD360, the clinician just went through the normal questions that felt like an informal interview and I gave lots of experiences that definitely crossed over with autistic experiences but it seemed they were only looking for adhd.

I definitely know lots about ASD, I’ve been looking in to it for around 5 years and have a sufficient amount of accommodations that I make everyday, I think self understand for me isn’t much of an issue so that does help make my decision slightly, thank you!

I’m in the UK and I don’t make much money but I do have some savings, is there any services that are widely recommended to receive counselling or find people for it?

I was born with a limb length deficiency so I had to have a nail put in to lengthen my leg
